April 17, 20223 yr Conerly came into the program knowing he is not a starter game 1. Nice backup to have for sure. He will start some games. Lineman don't go unscathed all season. My bet is he will play in every game
April 17, 20223 yr Moderator At 278 pounds I doubt that he would start at tackle for any 'big time' program? By delaying his commitment he knew he wouldn't be able to be on campus for spring football. I think he is well aware that he needs a season f bulking up. If he wanted to start as a true frosh, why choose Oregon with an experienced OL? I think Conerly continues to make the smart long play.
