The title of the article uses a quote from Troy Franklin where he says that he and the other WR's "want to be lethal receivers". To me that means like Alabama has had, since Julio Jones.

Troy Franklin says wideouts want to be 'lethal receviers'

It will be great when Oregon becomes the standard that other teams dream of. Go Ducks.

But not like the young Bama receivers who, as so noted by Saint Nick, failed to step up in the champ game. A sure TD pass dropped and 2 other passes that would have gone for 1st downs dropped.

That was a great win by Georgia but it was aided by WR Metchie not being able to suit up and WR Williamson going down in game.

True.  But nobody felt sorry for Oregon when we were hosed by officials in 2010, and lost players prior to the 2014 'Natty....and then dropped big passes early.

Next time we get our chance?  We are due!
