The Ducks can use another DB, and he had an offer to walk on at Miami too.

    Oregon has been able to make some big gains with in state 3 star recruits as walk ons. They have managed to pick up a few out of state ones as well but getting 3 stars as walk-ons is pretty big. 

     

    They are project players who may become significant pieces on the team but not instant impact players.

    Cooper Kupp was a zero star with only a couple college offers. You just never know. Oregon played in the NC with mostly 3* players. Getting the 3* walkon will make everyone better. They are hungry with something to prove at THE school of their choice.
