Gore Jr at #4. Boy, now I feel ancient. Wasn't Frank Gore crushing fantasy football leagues, like, three minutes ago?

Not often that the first defender that touches him brings him down.

Fun RB to watch.

PFF says Oregon's Bucky Irving was a Top 10 running back in 2022

It wasn’t a major story when it happened, but the transfer of tailback Bucky Irving

to Oregon from Minnesota was quietly one of the biggest portal pickups for 2022.

According to PFF, Oregon’s Bucky Irving was one of the best tailbacks in the nation for the 2022 season.

Does raise the question what percentage of his rise was the O-line, Coaching, Scheme, Natural Talent, or other? If you have to break it up to make 100%, Talent 45, Coaching 20, O-line 25, Scheme 10?

Bucky was a 3* amongst 5* and 4* talent on that list. Gore was a 3*, but it could be argued that didn't give his genes enough respect. How does a 3* rise up to that level?

Is it nature, nurture, or just the heart in the guy no one could measure?

Bucky is that guy that can play well at every level. His ability to change directions to allude tackles requires quick reactions, and body control. Tough to teach…you either have it, or you don’t.

He averaged almost 11yards a carry his last two years of high school…seems he was probably underrated.

Makes me wonder why he didn't get more touches, there were times in the 4th quarter in close games where he needed to be one getting the rock instead of Whittington or James, Seems like a major mistake not to have your best back in during crunch time.  Whittington is a good back, but Bucky is the clear RB1.
