Pac-12 Assistant Coach: 'Oregon Has the Best NIL Setup, and It’s Not Even Close'

Recommended Posts

This is great to see, and as time goes on--the reputation grows as high school coaches and players talk about it and trade notes.

The Ducks signed the highest rated recruiting class in the Pac-12 earlier this month. The group was headlined by California defensive lineman Matayo Uiagalelei and cornerback Rodrick Pleasant, two prospects USC wanted but missed out on, which led to speculation that NIL played a role.

The Athletics' Antonio Morales interviewed three Pac-12 assistant coaches, three Pac-12 recruiting staffers and one analyst from the conference asking about recruiting in the 2023 cycle and NIL. The group provided their answers anonymously.

When Morales posed the question "who do you think has the best NIL setup in the league?" one Pac-12 assistant responded:

"Oregon has the best NIL setup, and it’s not even close. Oregon is the only school in the Pac-12 that’s to be feared from a national standpoint because Oregon can go to whatever region it wants to and come out victorious. That’s the bogeyman in the league. That’s Pac-Man in the Pac-12 from an NIL standpoint. Everybody else is child’s play."

Really curious who the others named for best NIL setup in the league.

Oregon has wanted to compete for titles for a long time. The upward trajectory this program to get to where they are at took vision, determination, imagination, grit and...

It is no surprise that Oregon leads the Pac in NIL. Ducks have had 30 years of outside the box, get it done experiences.

Eugene Oregons Mighty Ducks are an international brand. No small feat considering the size and geographic location of Track Town.

Jealousy of the Ducks, conference wide, tastes sweet. Heck, USC stated they bounced in part to stick it to the Ducks.

I am impressed with what Oregon has created. Partly why I am a big fan. Hopefully they can get the hardware in the next couple years and solidify how the world sees them. A true blue blood
