  1. Past hour
  2. In the end I think his parents influenced his decision due to the distance.
  3. You could come to Oregon and be the first to win a natty be loved for the rest of your life or go to the dawgs be just another dude.
  4. I'm slightly disappointed to not get him, but man, it's such a crapshoot. Like 1 out of all the playoff teams had a QB they signed from HS. It's more disconcerting to be struggling with recruiting this year with USC stepping so much, you do wonder how much USC is really affecting talent available to us. Like the players we used to steal from USC aren't available to take anymore so we are more reliant on stealing from non-west coast locations where we have a lower hit rate. How big of an impact is that? It's non-zero, but we won't really know until signing day.
  5. Today
  6. An average of No. 7...the best ever? (Super-Regionals are the top-eight!)
  7. You know...the ad that elevated from the bottom of the page to where it became hard to publish a post? (Green arrow below) You had to click the little arrow each time to get it to lower...(Red arrow below) It was a pain on desktop, pad AND mobile...and I finally got the advertising platform to remove it. They told me how, "it makes much more money, and it is easy for the readers to move it downward." Yes, and it inconvenienced every reader on every page, and they finally deleted it when I bugged them. The heck of it is...we had it before and I had it removed, but they brought it back without asking me. They get a cut of revenue, hence why they give me grief. We make less, yes. But if it drives people off--what good is it? Besides, it annoyed me to no end, which means that it had to be doing so to others. And if anyone is so inclined...we do have a "Donate" button at the top of the page! Do consider it, to help me make up the loss. Just an update, and THANKS to all! Charles

  8. This was a "good-or-good" scenario to me, in that I think that when it comes to the QB position--an experienced one through the portal might be the best way for Oregon...
  9. OBD at #4 on his list feels high given the amount of turnover at starting positions. Right now my gut says they're top 10 rather than top 5 (though I'd love to be proven wrong).
  10. Yesterday
  11. As soon as Curtis verbaled for GA Oregon got a prediction to pick up Ryder Lyons. Oregon Ducks Expected to Land 5-Star QB After Losing Jared Curtis to Georgia - Athlon Sports
  12. Not that any "fan" would notice.
  13. Oregon recruiting, in both football and men's basketball, is in a serious downward spiral over the past few months. Hopefully, they can reverse course here very soon.
  14. A good sign I think. I read a blurb the other day that a player had committed to 3 different schools before landing finally, perhaps at Ole Miss. Commits are always good, but in the environment now, mean far less than they ever did.
  15. Jared Curtis, top 2026 quarterback, commits to Georgia - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Five-star passer Jared Curtis, the No. 1 quarterback in the 2026 class, announced his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs over the Oregon Ducks Monday night, closing a fierce recruiting battle that...
  16. The Ducks have the B1G scared senseless over going to Penn State and scheduling it at that ridiculous time.
  17. Did I miss something or did usuc drop football.
  18. Jared Curtis goes to GA, OBD pivots to Ryder Lyons. https://athlonsports.com/college/oregon-ducks/oregon-ducks-ryder-lyons-jared-curtis-5-star-qb-prediction
  19. This is what the NCAA does now? After Michigan self imposes "penalties" on Moore, after Harbaugh is gone, and Stalion is gone? They could impose additional penalties. Should teams watch out if any of their players have tattoo's?
  20. Michigan has suspended Moore from coaching in Game 3 vs Central Michigan and Game 4 at Nebraska. The NCAA Infractions Committee meets on June 6th to review the Michigan cases, scouting and Jim Harbaugh's issues, and could impose additional penalties against Moore and the program.
  21. Very impressive. Isiah ends up going to Indiana, and he should have been on the Dream Team. It was Mary Thomas who ultimately made the decision. She called a press conference and announced, “My son has made his decision. He’s going to Indiana University.” Isiah remembers the moment with humor: “I wasn’t even smiling. My head was down. It was totally her decision.” The rest is history. Thomas led Indiana to a national championship and launched his path to the NBA Hall of Fame. But it all started with a mother who, in the midst of poverty, showed that some things—like her son’s future—are simply not for sale.
  22. This list of course is much more comprehensive than the "Way Early" predictions. Where Oregon Football stands in Joel Klatt's post-spring top 25 DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM The Oregon Ducks are ranked as one of the top team in the nation according to Joel Klatt's post-spring top-25 rankings.
  23. Three Big Questions facing Oregon Football following Spring We are a week removed from the spring game and now the void is starting to set in. The 3 months between the conclusion of spring practice and the beginning of fall camp can be an agonizing and grueling waiting out period, but with it brings the opportunity to get away from football for a bit and explore the great outdoors. Good one, Ted. Although I love scenic mountain hikes, let’s be honest, I’ll be thinking about football just like you through these summer months and here are 3 big questions facing the Oregon Ducks before fall camp kicks off. 1) IS THE QB BATTLE A LEGIT COMPETITION? 2) WHERE DO WR TARGETS GO OUTSIDE OF STEWART & MOORE? 3) JUST HOW HIGH CAN THE DEFENSE FLY? Three Big Questions facing Oregon Football following Spring - On3 WWW.ON3.COM The Oregon Spring game is in the rear view and we are left with three big questions about this team moving forward.
  24. Yeah, it's a low bar, but 6:00 in the morning won't happen.
