I always thought the issue was that 3 times Oregon had the opportunity to kick a short field goal, but CK instead went for the touchdown each time--and each time we didn't make it. If we'd gone for and made 1, 2, or 3 of those FGs, the game's outcome might have been in the Ducks favor.
