  1. And now much like the NBA went through. The rookies, I mean freshman, are getting ridiculous contracts without showing that can play at the new level. As this unfolds. There will need to be limits set in place as what a freshman can be given.
  2. Here are the top 50 recruits according to ON/3. Ducks, Ohio St, U$C and A$M are the only ones with two. We will not get every recruit we go after. But we are doing well. 2026 Industry Top Football Recruits WWW.ON3.COM A list of the top 2026 Football recruits based...
  3. Football. And also Football.
  4. Yeah from what I can tell you are penalized for having more students transfer out than transfer in. My guess is this will have to be adjusted at some point to actually understand how the student athletes are doing academically.
  5. Like many players have said.NIL money is NOT NFL money. The money is nice, but not the ultimate goal . Oregon probably wasn't the highest bidder for Bo Nix. He went from "overrated". To number 12 pick and leading his team as a rookie to the playoffs. I am sure UW was not the highest bidder for Penix. He went from not sure aoubt his durability to number 7 pick backing up a veteran. To now it's his team That's what development does. And with how Dan and company recruit I don't see a holdout for more money happening in Eugene. And by how I mean character and work ethic fit.
  6. Donovan Jackson is not a linebacker. Height and weight: Height 6′ 4″, Weight 320 lbs Current team: Ohio State Buckeyes football (#74 / Offensive lineman) And the Ducks have LB Jeffrey Bassa and CB Jabar Mohamed. Expected to be drafted along with our two starting DLs and edge rusher Jordan Burch.
  7. There might be something to this D line determines everything mentality. Was Ohio State great at all three levels? Nope. I would be surprised if anyone can name their linebackers. But their D line was relentless. Particularly their edge players. They are the reason we scored one touchdown n the first half. And 21 points for the game.
  8. But lest we forget. No Willie Taggart. No Mario Cristobal. And Willie did inherit a dumpster fire. Four wins the year before.FOUR.
  9. Okay, so I was a bit confused by the "legend" tilte as well. So I looked him up. Here's what I found. "He remains Ohio State’s all-time leader in passing yards and the Big Ten’s all-time leader in passing and total touchdowns." So yeah maybe he is an Ohio St legend. Just not one to rest of college football.
  10. In the article...the facts are: he did NOT ask for more money for himself. He asked for more money for staff and to entice better players. Mr. Sanders gets zero NIL money.
  11. Okay, Travis Hunter suffered a lacerated liver from a late hit. He missed multiple games because of it. The person who caused his injury, a lacerated liver, was receiving DEATH THREATS from Colorado fans. Probably all adults. What did Travis do? Ignore the situation? Pour gasoline on the fire by commenting on his injury? Nope he took the dude bowling. Posted it on social media and told folks to leave the guy alone. Now if that does not show exemplary character I don't know what does. I prefer to actually look at what they do off the field.
  12. Okay I will take a stab at this. If revenue sharing is based on sharing revenue from your specific sport than it might actually work. Men's tennis and golf make little to no money. Just as women's tennis and golf. At most universities football pays for itself and every other sport, except men's basketball at some schools. So, if there is no revenue there is nothing to share. So, the discrepancy is not about male and female. It is about generating or not generating revenue. I can't i imagine the business school being required to share donations with the history department. As for NIL. It stands for name, image and likeness. An athlete's name and image carries weight based on who they are. Based on ON3 one of the top 5 NIL valuations is a young lady who plays volleyball for LSU. You have seen her on commercials during football games. Her valuation is strictly based on her image. None of her teammates get anywhere near her valuation. This will be "interesting" to watch in the coming months and years.
  13. With Ohio St, been there done that. Plus can you imagine the chaos that loosing in the first round would cause for Day and the fanbase. Much see t.v. Also would love to send the same message to the SEC as we sent to the BIG We are here. Go Ducks
  14. As Dan Lanning said. Coaches will leave for the RIGHT opportunity. One where they can be successful. Clearly this opportunity was not considered a step up by Ra'Shaad.
  15. Can only read if you are a subscriber to the Washington Post. Nevermind. Thnks for the cut and paste
