  1. To me, it sounds like the potential ceiling of Sharma is higher than that of Odom. Sharma is bigger, younger, etc. Of course, that doesn't guarantee anything, but it is always nice to have the potential of striking gold with a high upside guy. Odom may arguably have a higher floor, but he always seemed like a JAG to me.
  2. Considering safety was one of the biggest positions of need, getting literally the #1 ranked safety in the country (based on 247 Composite) would be amazing. When you factor in it would be taking a player of that caliber right out of Ohio State's backyard, it would be one of the biggest recruiting coups in program history....right up there with getting DAT out of USC's backyard. Hopefully it actually happens.
  3. I am surprised Georgia offered him a scholarship, to be honest. Last year there was some chatter of Gill making a few plays in camp and scrimmages leading up to last season, but there never seemed to be any indication he was on the verge of becoming a contributor. In my opinion, if the Oregon coaches were really high on him, they would have made more of an effort to keep him, rather than bringing in so many transfers to upgrade the secondary. I also think another young secondary player in the same recruiting class (Solomon Davis) may have shown more development than Gill, which could have possibly contributed to Gill moving on. Take all of these things I am saying with a grain of salt though. I don't have any inside info, these are just my thoughts from afar. Gill has always been considered a really good athlete, so it is definitely possible he could flourish at Georgia.
  4. Listening to "Ripple" as I type this.
  5. Lol. Wow, just wow. Sure, I guess it is possible she might prove to be an idiot savant that gets the last laugh, but there is some crazy stuff in there.
  6. Agreed. He was electric down the stretch of the season. Looked great in the Spring Game also.
  7. Better than running like a Derriere.
  8. Great info, thanks. Those comments seem to be consistent with part of the scouting profile that Greg Biggins wrote for Woodyard. Here is part of what he wrote... "He’s a not a freaky athlete and will need to continue to improve his overall quickness and athleticism but his smarts and ability to play in all situations should allow him to see the field early in college." https://247sports.com/player/peyton-woodyard-46102598/
  9. Huge. Hopefully it comes to fruition.
  10. Wellllll, his head coach was fired, so he wasn't completely wrong.
  11. The future at safety could potentially be elite if Woodyard comes to Oregon and lives up to expectations alongside Aaron Flowers.
  12. They could be playing at 3:00 AM and I would be watching. That being said, with DVR it is often more enjoyable to just start watching a game an hour or two after it starts anyway. Then you can just fast forward through all the commercials, halftime, etc.
  13. Probably a smart move in terms of giving himself the best shot to play at the professional level, although I don't follow baseball closely enough to know what his MLB potential is. His only path to playing in the NFL was most likely as a special teams ace.
  14. Yep. The numbers dictate that he is just the first of several that will have to go. The only way around it would be if a bunch of players are willing to give up their scholarships for NIL money. I really hope schools don't start overly abusing that loophole as a way to circumvent the scholarship limits, however. Having some sort of limits that maintain some semblance of competitive balance is a good thing.
  15. Whenever I start to feel a little sorry for Beavis fans, I think of this guy and order is restored...
  16. It will be interesting to see how much Laulea actually plays this season. There is some stiff competition for playing time at DB, if everyone stays healthy. I believe he is a 3 to play 2 guy, so there is some flexibility depending on his progress.
  17. Some key injuries on defense didn't help the cause in that matchup also.
  18. I didn't even realize you were the one that wrote the article, which goes to show my comments are never personal. I just thought it was funny someone would praise a post for being a "great call" on Couisnard when you were talking about the Ducks being "doomed" if he tries to be an offensive force, rather than simply facilitating everybody else. Obviously, hindsight is always 20-20. He could get those exact same looks next game and go 7-31 from the floor, rather than 19-31, and that likely would doom the Ducks. In this particular game, however, many of the comments turned out to be quite different than what actually took place.
  19. Eh, that was a mixed prediction at best. The post indicated that Couisnard shouldn't try to hunt shots and be an offensive force. Needless to say, he did and was.
  20. This is more likely to benefit Washington than the Ducks, unfortunately.
  21. Agreed. The Ducks need to complete the sweep of the Northwest the rest of the way (amongst other things).
  22. If this article is correct, then your only option would be rooting for Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu on the Ravens. NFL postseason will be full of ProDucks for the next month DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM NFL fans watching the postseason is going to see many ProDucks trying to go to the Super Bowl.
  23. If you are willing to use a streaming service, you can watch it on Fubo from anywhere in the world.
