Or he grew up a Tide fan but Saban didn't recruit him but after seeing what he can do and losing his 2 best receivers he now wants him.
-
Get him here. Please

Thanks for the link. This is not the last upgrade me thinks.

Caldwell, $ollars and 7 are a great start. If Broussard, a different transfer or Fr can come in and win the job so be it. Think we're going to be alright either way.

Rivals Predicts Two Massive Commitments for Oregon Ducks Football
Duck 1972 replied to NJDuck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
We all shall see come Feb 3rd ( Connelly could wait like JTT last year), S Training also Sept 22. Can't hardly wait. -
Which yr are u referring to. Which year are u referring to. Can't be 20 didn't play UW or 21 which he got a season ending injury in the Stanford game so didn't play UW.

Ducks Beat Washington By Historic Margin
Duck 1972 replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Best 1st half of defense I've seen. Probably not able to maintain that level of intensitivity for full game but if they can could be a natty year. The difference I see this year is we have the size and depth to be very difficult. We tore their vaunted zone defense apart the whole game. Go Ducks Fly High -
Rivals Predicts Two Massive Commitments for Oregon Ducks Football

Recruiting will still matter. It's just that much tougher for roster management. 90%+ of the Ducks are staying at Oregon even with all our turmoil. We aren't the only ones going through this. Look at UGA which just won the natty. You would think they would be the least likely to have any decommits or transfers. And yet! -
Ducks come from behind, Crush Washington, 84-56
Duck 1972 replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
One of the best defensive games I've ever seen in the 1st half. Maybe took to much out of them to keep it going in 2nd half. Still a great game. -

Agreed but I believe in the history of CBB. -
Travis Dye OUT: Who Earns the Job?
Duck 1972 replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Thanks Ohio for the post. I believe it's more on the lines he went home to his and his new wife, to be around their families. Maybe NIL is playing a part. Who among us wouldn't take that option if given. That's my speculation. The Dye brothers are in the Ducks HOF. -
Thanks CJ keep flying high young man.

How Duck's Coaches Have Performed In Their First Years
Duck 1972 replied to David Marsh's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I believe that the team will be motivated by a desire to get to the same level they saw at Georgia. Also his staff are all motivated by that same vision. I know I sure would be. If I've seen it done I believe it's doable. Especially when it's someone I know and get to work with. And it's not just HC DL. They're numerous coaches of ours who have been there and did it. -
Florence makes it Official: it's Oregon or USC
Duck 1972 replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
C'mon J Tucker recruit him hard. As HS teammates he should be our ace in the hole to get J Florence to be a Duck. -
Duck Fans: Oregon's Success was BOUGHT by Phil Knight
Duck 1972 replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
As has been shown our track record of having the right people, being the most innovative and having the most success is why we have been better in fund raising than the other schools. Can't peel the onion any further. -
I agree but being #2 or #3 in the organization gives you a lot better shot then just being a asst. Coach. He, Dillingham and Lupoi have all been Coordinaters at UGA, FSU and Alabama. Not too shabby.

I see a different perspective. I believe that it was wanting to be to safe. We were airing the ball but really didn't have WR in 19 and had a great running attack and OL, so he played it cautious. In 20 it was covid. We aired it out until Verdel got hurt and our QB started making mistakes, so he played it cautious. In 21 we aired it out until we saw AB was inaccurate with the deep ball, were hurt by an unusual amount of injuries especially to the defense and Verdel who they tried to protect got a season ending injury again, so he played it cautious. I will grant everyone this was probably a mistake but he still went 24/10 with all the above problems, playing for 3 league championships winning 2 of them and a RB win so I feel thats not bad but really good. He's gone now and we're on our way to a bright future if things work out which I don't know any reason why they won't. Go Ducks Fly High!

Let's see. He saw how Saban did it at Alabama, then Kirby Smart for 4 years at Georgia in fact being the #2/3 guy. Just can't see how he won't nail it. The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.

The Fight Over the Future of College Sports is Here
Duck 1972 replied to Duck 1972's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Agreed but the ACC needs them more than they need the league. Isn't there any way they can stay independent? -

I would let ND in because of tradition and the largest fan base in CFB. Agreed the others should be out of D1 but problem is that their one of the selling point for "March Madness" and all kinds of commitment and contracs. I believe that's the reason for the mixed people on the Committee.
