  1. I'm afraid that Riley's recruiting pitch is,
  2. Speaking of Full of KLATT: Here's another: "There is going to be a 10-2 team out of the SEC that is left out of this playoff, it is going to happen," Klatt said on The Joel Klatt Show. "9-3 is not cutting it...You are not getting into the playoff at 9-3...And I'm telling you that a 10-2 team is going to get left out."
  3. The weather, rain shouldn't be a problem on the Ducks' passing game. The Badgers defense is No.91 against the run this season. This could be old school Big 10 football for the Ducks, plan your score prediction accordingly, and maybe Charles should swap passing yards with time of possession?
  4. I agree, basically any comparison to tOSU fans should be avoided. This is a step to being so myopic that you don't appreciate wins anymore, you just accumulate them. If your team is so good that wins are inevitable, where's the fun?
  5. Cignetti's off to a great start, 10 of them this season.
  6. Calling for a split and putting tOSU at -3 isn't a huge lot of shade being thrown at OBD. Based on the 1st game, declaring Oregon to sweep tOSU, this time on a neutral field, might be a bit much, (though UW did it last season). So.
  7. This was timely. Matt Hasselbeck is on with Cowherd, and he said, "9 sacks, 6 are on the QB" Williams is thinking too much, then things fall apart and it's a bad throw or a sack. He could get awy with, in fact it seems he preferred to, at USC, to go off script and just make plays. Won't work in the NFL.
  8. As the commercial's used to say, "The more you know" & "This is your brain on drugs."
  9. Alphabetical order, fine. Back in the day when there were newspapers, and they had the scores of games in them, They would look like this: Oregon 39 Maryland 18. Again, okay, a quick glance might be all the time you have at the moment. But at the bottom of the page was this: Winning Team in BOLD. Really?
  10. Yeah, that's pretty good for a Husky fan, give 'm a biscuit.
  11. All through his senior season, and the pre-draft talk, Caleb Williams was a cross between Andrew Luck, Patrick Mahomes, Dan Marino, you name it. His season with the Bears, who have never had a 4,000 yards passer at QB, was going to be the best first season in NFL history. Guaranteed, Nope. Right now the best two rookie QB's are Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix. Of course, coaching has a lot to do with it. Williams is at Chicago, with Matt Eberflus, while Nix is being coached at Denver by Sean Payton.
  12. I agree completely with the writer's takes on Miami and Indiana. AP Top 25: 3 teams who will be higher in College Football Playoff rankings, 3 lower FANSIDED.COM With the College Football Playoff rankings now being released, the AP Top 25 Poll is no longer as important as it had been earlier in...
  13. Right there exactly, with Cowherd & Full of KLATT.
  14. Can Foster and UCLA actually beat USC and Riley later this month? That would be the ultimate humiliation for the Trojans if it happens. Wasn't the "humiliation" supposed to be if USC lost to Washington? They did, and to be fair, it's not just Foster who's out-coaching Riley.
  15. It does seem to be the way it's trending. I'm waiting to see the list of all the coaching moves Cig made in the wins over the non top 25 schedule Indy has faced so far. They have scored 40+, except against Michigan in the 20-15 win.
  16. Eye Test for Mr. Magoo maybe. All the talk about Miami's great comeback wins, no thought given on why Miami needed to come back against those teams, never mind, that the video review had more to do with all of them than Ward did.
  17. Looks like COY stuff to me.
  18. Yeah, the Purple Puppies up Nortth are still dog paddling in Duh Nile.
  19. Exactly what I saw. The Lady Ducks got off to a great start. had a good lead, but it got thisclose at the end. But Oregon never gave up the lead, kept their composure. played the D. One basket all night for Mevius, and it sealed the game. The drama continued when Oregon kept possession at the end, 7 seconds on the clock, up by 2. Baylor fouls, hit the free throws. But for the last 7 seconds, Baylor never fouled?
  20. Sure, put a team in with 3 losses. What? Fans are going to go crazy if a strong SEC team is left behind. The CFB world might witness significant backlash from fans and supporters of the conference. Why are we discussing a team with three losses getting to the playoffs? Well, because it is highly likely that a team with two losses will play the SEC championship game. Naturally, if the one with two losses faces defeat in that game, their record will show three losses. One of those teams can be Bama, despite their uptick in form in the last few weeks. They are already at two losses, and while they are still a little behind from imagining playing in the SEC championship game, why stop from hoping for it?
  21. That was the chatter we'd see at every fan base who's team is about to take on OBD. A mix of what if's, aspirations and doses of reality.
  22. Alex, I think you summed it perfectly. OBD had an off game, but never once was the game in jeopardy. On a day when Miami and Georgia stumbled and fell, Indiana sneaked past offensively challenged Michigan, Oregon Maryland by 21. Should Oregon switch Gernorris Wilson to receiver? The fake punt wasn't up there with the 12;th man, but it showed again what an advantage Oregon has with Lanning as its coach. The penalties and drops were mistakes, no doubt, but in a marathon of 7 games straight mistakes are bound to happen, best to get them out of the way in a 3 touchdown win.
  23. I haven't been as nervous, excited, thrilled, watching a Ducks game in years! Sabrina Ionescu fired up as Oregon hangs on to upset No. 12 Baylor - ESPN Video WWW.ESPN.COM Elisa Mevius scores the go-ahead bucket and the Ducks come up big on defense to seal an upset victory over No. 12 Baylor.
  24. Guess who he thinks "the most dangerous team in the country" is? Paul Finebaum sounds off on Georgia, LSU embarrassments CLUTCHPOINTS.COM Paul Finebaum did not hold back on Georgia and LSU after their brutal losses to Ole Miss and Alabama on Saturday.
  25. What if the Beavs had won? Oregon State announcer's wild antics in booth go viral AWFULANNOUNCING.COM Oregon State radio announcer Mike Parker got very animated after a big play Saturday, shaking his fists and banging on the press...
