A collection of G-5 schools combined is just another G-5 conference, and it will turn to G-6 and not P-5...IMHO.

 

Canzano (this morning) believes that what is left of the Mountain West will receive a terrible Media contract, and thus could spell the end of that conference.  MWC's commissioner has promised full legal action, and demands all conditions of departure are met by the leaving schools.

 

Will the Pig-2's stolen money be enough after the lawsuits?

Look at the rest of that schedule....whew!  Is that the opposite of what Oregon or Georgia has as a schedule?

OK, I have to admit that your selection would send a massive message.  However, it is going to take ton more games proving ourselves in that area to get that rep.  The defensive line still has more games, more to prove and they can.  DG does fit within our known profile....

 

 

I think that what Fisch did at Arizona is a coaching miracle.  From where they were, and to be able to recruit and put them into the top-15? Thus why with Washington's resources--I'd rather see him at Florida.

 

Alex, I think your suggestion of what Oregon's identity should be is right-on. Already known nationally!

So many of the game knee-jerk reactions do not age well, and they would be better served to wait until the game is over.  Although the best example was last year, when Portland State scored early and gnashing of teeth here was pretty severe.  At the end of a 81-7 game--they too, looked pretty silly.

I did not think that experienced offensive linemen had deteriorated in the early games.  Nor did I think our OC got stupid overnight as some suggested...

 

It is quite evident he was holding back the playbook, as he popped quite a few surprises at Oregon State. Flawless blocking doesn't hurt either...
