  3. The No. 17 Oregon Ducks men’s basketball team didn’t play bad on the road on Thursday afternoon against the Colorado Buffaloes (12-2, 1-0 Pac-12). In fact, the Ducks (8-2, 3-1) had pretty decent performances from the usual suspects — Chris Duarte led with 27 points, six rebounds, four steals and two blocks; Eugene Omoruyi scored 18 points and grabbed six ... 7. We had a great article this week about the candidates who could replace Avalos... I don't think Jim Leavitt is on the list...
  8. Mike West! My article for Sunday is about the Critical Analysis Fan, who can both call the negative without a bite or bile, and yet be grateful for the positive at Oregon. I salute you! It's gotta be an Oregon IPA....

  10. Wow. Leading 33-32 at half on the road at the No. 1 team? GREAT START!
  11. Completely understandable with the inside linebackers of quality in the room and joining the Ducks shortly. I wish him well!
  12. To you, to me, to this community. I call it, "Mysteries of the Mind!"
  13. Well, we started the year with great third down conversions and then hit a skid.. You make great points and wish to invite you to post more often!
  14. Darrian Felix was a superb runner who scored against Auburn last year, but could not crack the line-up due to blocking, according to my source. David, I agree that is more than just running for a running back...

  17. Darn right! If we had a running back room as highly rated as the offensive linemen... (how crazy is THAT to read!?)
  18. Certainly that is a great point, but Oregon was a mess in many areas. (and we do encourage punctuation here to make it easier reading for the community-thanks)

  20. It is reasonable members of this forum like you that make me re-think my premises...and that is a good thing. Thanks for posting!
  21. You know...I've been thinking about that a lot. Yes, your point is valid, but after six games and all those practices...I really think Oregon should have played better in the Bowl game. Especially with what happened in the Coliseum! You are new, and please keep posting. Welcome!

  23. Well that is the beauty of this forum, and that we can all disagree without getting personal. I will politely disagree with you, in that I do not believe that the senior defensive linemen of Austin Faoliu and Jordon Scott along with linebacker Mase Funa (who had his hand down most of the time on the LOS) had a good year and were coached to their fullest abilities. Had they a great year? It would have helped the newbie linebackers and taken pressure off the parts of the secondary that were inexperienced. Seniors and one of the highest rated LBs ever at Oregon should have performed better, IMHO.
