  1. Well Utah just manhandled UCLA 44 to 24, it was never in question.
  2. It was a bummer Ty didn't get a chance to go back out and respond to the interception but I can't fault Mario for his decision here.
  3. I guess i didn't pick up on how many guys down the line were being put in on defense but I'm 100% for it, if you've got a good lead let the guys that will be playing more eventually get some game time, it will pay off down the road.
  4. I thought Cal was a better team than their record reflected but still can't believe they just beat OSU by 2 touchdowns, 39 to 25.
  5. Hard to complain about 25/31 for 307 yards 3 TD and 0 INT. He looked really good out there today. Is it just me or have the ducks really opened up the offensive play calling the past two games? So many more players catching the ball, more of the freshman running backs getting playing time, I wonder if this has helped AB as it keeps the defense guessing a bit more.
  6. Points scored by Colorado against: Texas A&M - 7 Minnesota - 0 ASU - 13 USC - 14 Cal - 3 Oregon - 21 with a quarter to go... Glad to see the our offense is really clicking!
  7. Can't comment on local radio but as far as national tv coverage I feel like most of the people are just going off a highlights reel or story they read that was written off a review of the espn gamecast. I suspect a lot of them miss most oregon/pac-12 games due to them starting so late or even when we do have earlier start times they're watching the SEC games. I can't think of a specific example off the top of my head but there's been quite a few times where they're talking about the ducks previous week game and i'm thinking... that's not at all how it went...
  8. Oregon wins 38 - 3 7 sacks 2 turnovers 250 passing yards
  9. i thought the same exact thing while watching, looked good to me and just assumed it was the camera angle. So many of these problems could be solved by just putting a chip in the ball, field goal posts, end zone line, etc to show where the ball actually was.
  10. No, statistically it was an average game for the UCLA passing defense which ranks 125 out of 130. Total defense at home they give up an average of 420.2 yards per game, we put up 417 on them. Their passing defense averages 290.9 ypg, we put up 296. Avg yards per attempt 7.48 vs AB 7.58 Avg yards per completion 11.63 vs AB 10.2 Not trying to be negative but it was just one game, which i enjoyed watching! but still just one game. 11. Auburn is requiring all employees to be vaccinated by Dec 8th. Harsin is pulling a Rolo and won't talk about it. Same for Leach at Mississippi St.
  12. I almost canceled my subscription... but couldn't find that button either
  13. The play calling was definitely better, spreading the ball around to so many players was awesome but it was sill against one of the worst pass defenses in the country, UCLA gives up on average 290.9 yards per game, we put up 296 on them. I don't really look at that as something to start setting off fireworks about, I'll wait to see how AB does against better pass defenses. edit: Also in 8 games UCLA has 8 interceptions, 2 of those were against AB.
  14. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety we saw in the passing game on Saturday but I also keep reminding myself that UCLA is 125 out of 130 for passing defense. I'm not sure there's much more to open up with AB at QB. Hopefully we have a nice lead at the half against Colorado and Cristobal turns the second half over to the freshman.
  15. The defense has clearly saved the game a few times this season but when i watch i never think it's dominant. Honestly I'd say his team will be remembered for being scrappy and lucky.
  16. I'm not handing out coach of the year awards just yet and i haven't wanted him to be fired. I was pleasantly surprised at the offense play calling... I definitely think Moorhead was making the calls... maybe we need to leave him in the booth so he can ignore Mario
  17. While they did try to give me a stroke at the end... this game was FUN to watch
  18. Thibs "They drew up a great f#@king scheme" Guy with the ABC mute button... wait what did he say?
  19. I never doubted for a second... i swear
  20. man he's powering through but that ankle is definitely bothering him
  21. this team just loves to kill itself with penalties
