  1. I believe the O line will be better than average. This is a highly talented room playing for the first time together. I look at this TT game as the 1st game. PSU doesn't really count. First game out for the most difficult and important position group on the offensive side of the ball. Give it some time and this unit will be a great unit. Ducks have three games and a bye week before this group sees real talent outside of TT very stout Dline. Duck fans are funny. In the PSU game prediction, we had PSU scoring 11.5 pts on avg. They scored seven and many wanted Lupoi fired and Lanning run out of town. The O line will be fine. TT game was a brutal game. Oregon wasn't focused. The atmosphere was crazy. TT has a very good front seven. Lubbock is similar to the Palouse. And as said...1st true game. Ducks and this O line will come together and when they do, look out. Going to be a great season.
  2. Sanders uses Kayfabe tactics. He kicked off his tenure at CU with a me against the world narrative. He is very good at it. He knows darn well what Lanning said and the meaning behind Lannings words. But Sanders needs an enemy. Some of the things he has said are misguided to creat the illusion. Yea... its all kayfabe.
  3. Good... hype this thing up till it boils over. Hope its on billboards in Colorado. Hope it's played over and over and over. Get every eye in the country on this one. And when the Ducks thrash Buffs, all the sweeter. Oregon will just be the beginning of the end for this ridiculous love fest for the Buffs.
  4. Over zealous refs itching to throw that flag. That was the worst call of the night.
  5. Ducks are going hard at Ayden Breland. AB also is a 5* Mater Dei kid. There is also a 5* WR out of Texas that is warm on Oregon. Forgot his name.
  6. I mentioned this to my Fusky fan brother a few months back through text. The convo ended there. Lol
  7. Hawaii’s offensive attack will test Oregon’s secondary all day long DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Hawaii is going to pass the ball early and often. Oregon’s secondary is going to need to... Hawaii loves to throw the ball. Super aggressive in the pass game with 20-30% deep. I think this will be a great game to sharpen both defefensive backs and front 7. Both units will have plenty of opportunity to showcase their skills. Lanning and Lupoi will be able to run a ton of scheme and get the defense much needed reps as they deploy much more of the defensive playbook. This is better competition than PSU by far. They should also have some breathing room they didn't have v. TT. This should be a great "coach'em up" opportunity for Lanning and his staff.
  8. No doubt about it. A ton of people are buying in. Deon is a living legend, arguably the best corner in NFL history. Top that with time at wide receiver, kick and punt return and MLB. Dude was a phenomanal athlete. There is no denying his coaching and recruiting abilities. What he did at Jackson State is impressive. Chances are he will make Colorado a winner. Deon has been crowned. He is mentioned in darn near every article written about college football. I wouldn't even have mentioned him if it wasn't mentioned in this article. Can't wait until the Ducks silence this noise. After that it will be Usc, UCLA, OSU, WSU and Utahs turn. Time to hit the hit the washer fluid button and turn this radio off.
  9. When Tez is interviewed he looks like he wants to pinch himself. That kid is having a blast and obviously living a dream come true. Ducks are lucky to have a kid like that.
  10. Ducks should throttle Hawii. Ducks first game in Lubbock has people concerned. Good reason, I guess. The lack of focus is a concern. Dropped balls and penalties were in abundance to say the least. But it was Lubbock, or Palouse 2.0. The reputation of playing night games there is for good reason. Looking ahead to Colorado shouldn't be a problem. Even if Duck are looking ahead they should beat Hawii. I doubt they do though after the lack of focus in Tx. They will dial it back and be focused on whats in front of them. I get why people are falling all over Colorado. People love shiny new things. And Deon seems to be just that. They beat TCU, TCU played in the NC last year. Nevermind TCU lost most of their best players. They beat Nebraska. Lol... yea, I watched that game. Nebraska is a whole different level of bad football. Buffs had a tough time with Nebraska D untill the D quit trying in the second half. Can't blame Nebraska D, there really wasn't a point trying to get the ball back to the O. But... Buffs are the new media darling. Deon sells. I am not ready to buy in yet. Atleast not this year. I suspect Buffs are the shiny used car that looks great. But you get it off the curb and down the road, the transmission starts slipping and the windshield wiper controls change the radio station. Think I will kick the tires a bit longer before I but in.
  11. Rushing three and they had to hold. This bodes well v. Hawii. If it's true about Hawii, and they throw 50 a game with 25% being long, Ducks should get a few more Picks and 6-7 sacks.
  12. Let's see... held an air raid to under 300 passing. Got hurt a little on TS running. 3 picks, one for six to ice it. 4 sacks, 5 if Mateo sack isnt negated by holding on TT. Beat an air raid team on the road in a similar environment to the Palouse. Very hostile crowd. A team that went 6-1 last year at home and beat Texas and Okie. Being the first game of the season (PSU doesn't count) I say the Ducks did pretty good.
  13. Thats a pretty sweet video. Whatching everyone on the sideline in slowmo on the Bassa pic was hilarious. Merle Haggard is an absolute Dude. But it don't matter what I think, think I'll just sit here and drink.
  14. Nor do I expect it. At surface level it almost sounds absurd. But for the last year, the obsurdaties of college football are at epic levels. Why stop now when they are on a roll.
  15. These teams in the Pac will be given benifit of doubt imo. I think many that make these decisions on ranking and CFP/bowl positions are as frustrated as the rest of us about the demise of the Pac. Many love traditions of college football an The depth of this conference is playing out in the ooc games. Just keep winning. I can see two loss pac teams playing in champ game. I can also see the CFP committee bucking the norms and placing a two loss Pac-12 champ in the CFP. They would face backlash for sure. But as good as this conference is, a two loss conf champ could/would still be one of the four best teams in the nation. You heard it here first. Don't be surprised if later in the year you hear it on College Game Day or Big Noon
  16. TT was playing incredibly fast. Oregon needs to get better at getting the play call in quicker
  17. I did read it. This thread is super toxic. I will leave my statement where they are but I regret commenting. It helps no one to litigate this on OBDF. We have courts for that. It would be better for OBDF if this story was never posted here. I have formed no opinion on guilt or innocence. This will be the last thing I say about it on OBDF. IMO, if the thread continues it will damage this forum. Just my opinion. Go Ducks
  18. Had a case of the dropseys yesterday also. Kinda overlooked but was pretty costly. Didn't have that issue last year. Hope its not an on going concern.
  19. Wow- alledged sexual harassment story convicts accussed through mass media one more time.
  20. Secondary played well. Minus the PI calls and a couple instances with poor tackling. Oregon schemed the pass and for the most part limited Shough. Shough stat line was 24/38 with 282yd, 3td, 3int, qbr 64.3. Shough ran a ton, 23 carries for 101yd. Ducks rushed 3 much of the night and Shough held the ball for a long time with nowhere to throw. When ducks rushed 4 or 5 there was pressure. Created 4 sacks and 3 int. Plus a strip sac recovered by Ducks. Ducks didn’t play great consistently on either side of the ball. Ducks played exceptional in key situations and thats what won the game.
  21. Expected. Bama wasn't dropping out of top 10. I can't argue with it. They have a history of elite. Deserve benefit of doubt 8 pac schools are top 26 with Cougs on the bubble
