Injury report still up in the air. Mums the word on injury front, Dan Lanning open to being creative at wideout if needed "I'm not going to get into injuries," Lanning said. "If they're ready, they'll play."

Have the Pac 12 Zebras Replaced Their Patches but Not Their Stripes?
Not only was the officiating horrid in the Iowa game. Really, one penalty for one yard vs Iowa and zero holds!! But the league has omitted Mich St was on the wrong end of two bad calls. I saw the second one where the receiver's jersey was clearly yanked. And on the next series Mich St was flagged for a much lesser tug. Setting up the winning TD in TO. "Against Michigan two weeks ago in East Lansing, Malcolm Bell timed a snap perfectly, sacked Bryce Underwood, and jarred the ball loose and it was picked up by Jordan Hall in a tight game. The turnover would have given Michigan State the ball near midfield with a chance to go down and make it a one-score game. Instead, a late flag signaled that Bell was offsides despite the replay clearly showing that he timed the snap perfectly and didn’t do anything illegal. Michigan was given the ball back and it ended up scoring shortly after to put the game out of reach. As if that wasn’t bad enough, that bad call was followed up by the refs overturning an interference call in overtime at Minnesota on a third-and-short play. It was a clear interference on replay, and the ball was even spotted to reflect the penalty with the teams about to line up for the next snap, but about 90 seconds later, the officials picked up the flag and moved the ball back for fourth down."

Wowsa. Powerful Facts from PFF Concerning Oregon-Iowa Game...
Defense on this play was out of whack. We had extra defenders on the outside outnumbering the receivers 3 - 2 on one side and 4 - 3 on the other side. In the pictures we have the pre snap and post snap. This gave them 5 on 4 in the box. What were we thinking? Well ok, I was thinking QB draw probably along with most of the forum.

Interesting Question: 'Is Oregon Sandbagging Games?'
Sandbagging would be very foolhardy. You can't turn on and off the emotions of a game in the game. Although Sam Houston State did put on a rope-a-dope and a thanks for the check clinic in Corvallis.

Sources: Big Ten Execs Pressing to Make $2.4 Billion Investment Deal — Without Michigan and USC if Needed
This is a seriously BIG club (pun intended). Give a quiz to all the Ad's for an explanation. Or, maybe hire Larry Scott to negotiate a deal that exceeds all expectations until the next round of media deals in a couple of years.

Crazy Coaching Carousel Could Seriously Affect Ducks
"Big job" is subjective. He is still a decent P4 coach. It would be interesting if ewe dub and OBD both run the table up till that game. A Ducks win and we are in. A close Ducks loss and both might make it depending on SEC chaos and only 1 bid to ACC and Big 12.

Prediction Contest of Oregon vs. Iowa: Join Us!
I'm not going to take Iowa to be the only person to do so and an easy win, as I do not want Charle's magnanimous prize to bump my tax bracket!!! So, Ducks 27 - 8 2 TO's (no Mari, not time outs) 1 sack 205 pyds

Could Oregon Miss the College Football Playoff?
Alex, your article brought up another scenario for us to ponder . . . A two loss Ducks team could miss the playoffs. Going forward since we want to see OBD in the playoffs every year it will be a daunting task to go 11 - 1 year after year. That is a tough ask, so we do need to be prepared for hopefully no more than a one-year absence every so often.

Oregon - Iowa Pre-Game Reports, Interviews, Etc. (2)
What to expect from Iowa defense. The Hawkeyes have the No. 5 scoring defense (14.0 ppg), No. 3 total defense (243.1 ypg), No. 4 passing defense (153.4 ypg), and No. 12 rushing defense (89.7 ypg) in the nation. I think those will change for their worse. How much is weather depending. What the Oregon Ducks should expect from Iowa's defense On offense. Hawkeyes have a solid rushing offense, averaging 167.4 yards per game, which ranks 47th in the nation. That's great compared to their passing offense, which ranks 129th in the nation, with just 144.7 yards per game. So, put 11 in the box! What the Oregon Ducks should expect from Iowa's offense

What Will the Playoff Committee's 1st Ranking Reveal - Will it Come Up B1G?
I'm not so sure. The committee doesn't want egg on their faces, so I think they will give SEC type bias to their top 25 for loses to teams ahead of them. Otherwise it is almost like saying "I guess we screwed up". If we win a tight game with Iowa, depending on what other ranked teams do, they may stay in the top 25. After OBD, they travel to sc then coast with Sparty and Neb. So, lose to us and win out, they will stay in top 25. No credit if we beat Minnesota although they are on a bye and are 6-3 right now. If sc wins their next 2, then they will be in top 20 and won't fall out with a loss to us. ewe dub looks like a cakewalk till they play us (Wisc, Purdue, UCLA). So, they will be ranked both before and after even with a loss.

Five items are: Evans injury, Simpkins offense, turnovers (UGLY), walk-on Carter at point, Bittle in the paint. Five items of note from Oregon's one-point regular season opening win over Hawaii

It's REAL: 'They Don't Know Us,'....Even NOW?
We seem to be the B-2 Bomber of the football world. We aren't under the radar; we are known it is just radar doesn't pick us up (hopefully until it is too late).

What Will the Playoff Committee's 1st Ranking Reveal - Will it Come Up B1G?
One thing is for sure; I do not care about the rankings as long as in the final reveal we are in. Although a favorable seeding is nice, you still need to beat every team you play in the playoffs to be the Champs (I know, big duh here) But, if we can't beat tosu or Indy in an early round, then we do not deserve to be the Champs. Just win baby win and DO IT.
