I'm always of the opinion that unless the call is the last call of the game, it did not "cost" the game (MLB still needs to reverse Jim Joyce's incorrect call that cost Armando Galarraga a perfect game). There were a couple of innings to go. If the play stood as safe, then the batting order, pitch selection etc. would have all changed and maybe we don't score a run in the ninth. The outdoor projections show an SC sweep; however, the women fall only 1/2 point behind SC, 121 to 120.5. What this means is that if SC runs to form and ONE Duck moves up one position (say 8th to 7th), the Lady Ducks will win. Should be a barnburner right up to the final event.
