  1. Home team calls a time out to allow the No. 1 team they are beating to get off the Court before it is stormed. Bill Self thanks Dennis Gates for timeout before court storm after Kansas vs Missouri FTW.USATODAY.COM “That was a class move.”
  2. The Ducks SOS would have been better if the Huskies hadn't lost to WSU and Rutgers. So worth it!
  3. My ballot: 1) Hunter, two-way player, great at both. 2) Jeanty, he got his team to the playoffs with only one loss (thank goodness), Can't stop him even when you know he is going to get his carries and possibly injured arm for 1/2 season. 3) Gabriel, 'nough said. 4) Ward, good for 4th.
  4. The biggest threat is Oregon not being Oregon. This is not your grandfather's Oregon! (If you are old enough to know what this is from, then you are probably a grandfather) Go Ducks!
  5. I think/hope so. It does not bother me in regard to the "draw" we have. Once in the "tournament" to be the Champion you have to beat everyone in front of you. If someone beats you, then they deserve to move on.
  6. Couldn't afford the fare and my horse was lame. Expect next year to do away with seeding for conference champs and just use the rating with conference champs still getting auto bids.
  7. Rivals Sunday review. A look back and forward. Sunday Morning Sidewalk: Dare Greatly OREGON.RIVALS.COM Some Sunday morning thoughts following Oregon's hard fought win over Penn State last night.
  8. Of course, a lot of that has to do with who is favored by how much. This was almost a toss-up game and they played really well.
  9. Rivals, a look back . . . Big Ten Championship game Day Primer OREGON.RIVALS.COM A look back at the last time these two met from a reflective point of view - and what this game means now.
  10. This game is our only chance for a mulligan, hopefully we don't use it.
  11. 30 - 21 Ducks 2 TOs 4 sacks 285 p yds My Vegas bets were a 2 parlay Ducks -2.5 half / -3.5 game; singles = -2.5 half and -3.5 game. If I win, I'm treating my wife to a Costco hot dog/drink combo with my winnings.
  12. In regard to the article, changes will be made next year. Not sure that one, but re-seeding after each round makes sense.
  13. Litter bugs on the Oregon Trail.

  16. Each conference will receive different payouts based on the number of teams in the conference that make the College Football Playoff. But those teams will be eligible to earn even more money for their conference the further they advance. For the 2024-2025 College Football Playoff: 1. A conference will receive $300,000 for each of its teams in the College Football Playoff that meets the NCAA Academic Progress Rate, which is essentially a team-based metric to hold colleges accountable for their student-athletes' academics. 2. A conference will receive $4 million for each team that makes the 12-team CFP and an additional $4 million for each team to advance to the quarterfinals (eight schools). 3. A conference will receive $6 million for each team that advances to the semifinal (four schools) and an additional $6 million for each team that advances to the national championship game (two schools). 4. Each team that participates in the College Football Playoff will receive $3 million to cover expenses each round. So, the question is, and it is a Hell of a lot more than a $64,000 question, how much of the conference $$$ does the participating teams get beyond the $3Mil for expenses?
  17. The best part is that Dan went into the Braden Florida ING Academy and got a recruit. Getting a foothold in that "school/manufacturing factory" is HUGE.
