  1. Oregon lands at No. 9 in 2023 Blue-Chip Ratio; highest ranked Pac-12 team 247SPORTS.COM On Tuesday, 247 Sports released its annual blue-chip ratio that saw Oregon rise to No. 9 in the country.
  2. College football expansion: Big 12 set to add two teams, per report WWW.MSN.COM With speculation that college football expansion and conference realignment is set to pick up again soon, it appears that the Big 12 will be the conference that makes the next move, with insiders... So, let's see, if we don't like the new media deal were gone . . . but if we do, we staying. Seems reasonable since everyone wants their cake and eat it too. With the "eat their own" attitude of college sports now adays, every team could take this avenue and not sign off on the grant of rights and enter the conference realignment portal.
  3. I say "bring it on". With expanded playoffs, we don't belong in the picture unless we can win the "Pac whatever" and get the auto bid, so these games should only help us in league play as opposed to all cupcakes and getting the "our poop don't stink" attitude. Georgia didn't keep us out of the playoffs last year, ewe dub and the Beavs did!
  4. Could Prime (the coach, not the network) be behind some of this? Although, hard to think he could keep his mouth shut if he was. But with what CU has invested in him, he has to be in on it in some way IF there is some fire.
  5. Canzano and Wilner discussed this a few days ago on their podcast and it doesn't seem too radical after looking at the numbers. Plus, we play 9 already, let's go ahead and add on one of the new guys who aren't up to snuff. I recall it took quite a while for Utah to reach equal status to the big dogs and CU isn't there yet. The new media deal will probably be short term and end about the same time as the next re-alignment happens. So, with the expanded playoffs, doesn't bother me.
  6. Phoenix Suns Owner Matt Ishiba Will No Longer Do NIL Deals With Alma Mater Michigan State WWW.MSN.COM Michigan State has been one of the schools benefitting the most from the legalization of college athletes receiving money for their...

  8. Nah, why would viewers choose a 'Bama cupcake game over TX Tech / Ducks?
  9. Hell, you could show him at his proctologist's office and use the same headline.
  10. Replacing UCLA is easy . . . I think Dillingham has already equaled their Pac 12 S championships over the last decade.
  11. Ducks land pledge from 2025 offensive line prospect Chavez Thompson 247SPORTS.COM Oregon added a second commitment to its 2025 recruiting class with the addition of interior line prospect Chavez Thompson of Melbourne (Fla.).

  12. Ewe Dub fan #1: "Another player bought by Nike" Ewe Dub fan #2: " Wrong, we didn't want him anyway"
  13. REALLY, is that even in your thought process when it is ewe dub? If so, I prescribe two lobotomies and see me in the morning.

  16. Caution, we are being dominated by all those crickets that showed up for their spring game?
  17. 1. No, Nix will not be QB3 2. Smith will leave if he gets double digit wins. Of course, I mean this Smith will leave his mind, not Jonathan leaving OSU. 3. Yes, but depends on how many lanes there are at the alley. 4. YES, yes, yes 5. Nah, ain't gonna get a Heisman from a 3 L team.
  18. Jim Brown, one of football's greatest ever, dies at 87 - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Jim Brown, one of the greatest professional and college football players of all time, "passed peacefully" in his Los Angeles home on Thursday night, his family said.
  19. Breaking news: USC athletic director Mike Bohn resigns WWW.MSN.COM The LA Times broke the news on Friday Almost a year too late!
  20. Ah contraire . . . I think this will do away with all College sports. Taking any piece of the revenue plus sports (and I am not sure every school has one) will kill all sports as I am assuming many schools will just abandon all non-intermural sports due to budget constraints. Will unionized schools picket/refuse to play non-unionize schools? Perhaps the reason the NLRB chose the Pac 12 and USC is to set up an appeals process in the Ninth Circuit. Leave it to the lawyers to try and kill the golden goose.
  21. Oregon in line to potentially add three commitments over the next few days 247SPORTS.COM The Oregon Ducks are in a place where the 247Sports Crystal Ball says commitments are incoming.
  22. At least the Champagne and caviar has left the room!
