I'm Not Convinced Gabriel Will Help Oregon.
DiscoDuck replied to Boomer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Gabriel is on ESPN's 2024 Heisman Watch List, so is Cam Ward, the guy who almost beat Udub in the Apple Cup. So much QB talent in College Football. I am expecting Ward to be in the College Football Playoffs next year. Way-too-early 2024 Heisman Trophy contenders - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Before the dust settles on this year's ceremony, let's look ahead to next season. Who could take home the trophy? -
Ducks Face the Liberty Flames on Jan. 1
DiscoDuck replied to anyotherduck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Liberty leads the nation in rushing with 309 yards per game. They rushed for 722 yards in the Conference Championship. Rushing leader is their dual threat QB. Should be an entertaining game with Ducks running up a Portland State type score. Starts at 10am pacific. Washington will play the last Pac12 game at 5:45pm Pacific. -
Why risk an injury? Remember that Jordan Travis of Florida State broke his leg against little North Alabama U. Football is football no matter who you play.

Oregon Football: Where Bo Nix fits in the 2023 Heisman Trophy picture DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Now that we know Bo Nix is returning in 2023, where should he be viewed when it comes to the Heisman Trophy picture? Makes the Holiday Bowl even more interesting based on NC QB on the list. -
Oregon Names UTSA's Will Stein as Offensive Coordinator
DiscoDuck replied to Pennsylvania Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Like Coach Prime(Sanders) says "In coaching, you are either Elevated or Terminated". Coaches need to keep moving, especially young coaches when they are hot to avoid Termination when they are not. Stein moved at the right time, HC is next for him. Oregon is a great stepping stone for him. Dilly followed the pattern. -

BREAKING: Jay Butterfield to Enter Transfer Portal
DiscoDuck replied to cartm25's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
He and Ty know Dilly's system. Expect both to go to Arizona State. Ty is from Phoenix. This will give Dilley immediate starters or backups who know his system. Rumors are that the Georgia Tech OC coach (Chip) will come to Oregon and bring the #1 rated Portal QB who is currently at Georgia Tech. -
Transfer Portal: How Many Players Follow Dillingham?
DiscoDuck replied to Duck 68's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
The warm weather in Phoenix looks very inviting. Thompson will go, he is from Phoenix. Expect the RB coach to go too along with several RB's and Offensive Players. Dilly is a player's coach and fantastic recruiter. Expect him to take several Ducks and Duck commits. The future is bright for Dilly and the ASU program, no question. The ASU NIL (Name,Image, and Likeness) money for athletes got a big boost during the Dilly indroduction: -

Canzano: Will Bo Go vs. Utah? Somebody Knows
DiscoDuck replied to Pennsylvania Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
For Bo to be considered for Heisman, they must play Bo. It wil give Lanning and Dillingham a leg up in their salary negotiations with AD Mullens as other teams want them and will payoff their buybacks. College football continues to be about money. Play Bo, Please! -
Hoping for a Great Game (and a Ute Victory)
DiscoDuck replied to FreddyD's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Utah plays their best in cold weather. Really not fair to Duck players that Lanning is looking at Auburn and Dillingham candidate for Arizona State head coach job in the coaches first year at Eugene.. The real question is how is AD Mullins handling this, will he give them both raises to stay. So much riding on Saturday night in 30-40 degree weather. Dress warm, folks! Utah Coach Wittingham has been coach at Utah since 1994, Defense Coach for 11 years, and Head Coach since 2005. OC Ludwig has been coaching since 1987. It will be the "Dean of Pac-12 Coaching" vs the young pups. Should be an interesting game. -
What Do YOU Consider Success for Oregon Football in 2022?
DiscoDuck replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
You get what you expect: Beat Georgia, win the Pac 12 and be in the Top 8 prior to the playoffs. The players and coaches expect nothing less and the fans should expect the same, it is a family! -
Get ready for an incredible season Extremely impressed with all the coaches especially OC, DC, Head Coach, RB Coach, and Receiver Coach.
