  1. If he does in fact leave some team will be lucky. Great effort last night.
  2. I'm by no means a competent player evaluator but from what I've seen, Moore has not really progressed this year. I'm afraid we may already be seeing his upside. Against average defences he does great. When D's are really good he chokes. 2 more years at Oregon would be ideal or would it?
  3. Difference last night was a 3 year starter vs a 1 year starter. I don't really count his UCLA starts since it was a mess. IMO he should finish his time at Oregon, win the Heisman and be the 1st round NFL QB pick. He's going to go to some suck NFL team and get beat up so why not enjoy college like Bo and Dillon did then take your chance in the NFL.
  4. Always. I watched the whole beatdown. It was tough but theres always next year. It just seems like when they get this close theres always a bunch of woulda coulda shoulda's. Sucks.
  5. I dont remember what game it was this year but NW played like an absolute beast. Hopefully he finds that gear again.
  6. George Wrighster has a good analysis of the IU/UO game and shows where Dante missed several WR's on one play several times throughout the game. He's not ready for the NFL and hopefully comes back for another season. He's the key to a win Friday night.
  7. FWIW Oregon was tied with IU around the 8:40 mark in the 4th qtr @20-20. There is hope that they learned something. Having played IU already in the reg season should make it easier to game plan for the busy OC and DC.
  8. Back in the day it was always like this on Jan 1st with all the bowl games. But back then it was both teams that had the time off which usually resulted in slow 1st half starts.
  9. Chip had more pros than cons and I'm not talking about players going Pro vs getting arrested while at Oregon. Can't say for sure but it seems to me that the Ducks would not be where we are right now had it not been for Chip. Chip was 1/8" away from a Natty win. Subsequent coaches built off what Chip started. Outside help from Nike and Duck media did the rest. CFB is an ever changing landscape where the hot thing of today is a thing of the past 3-4 years latter. I wish him well at NW but won't feel sorry for him when he gets his butt kicked by the Ducks.
  10. Not worried about the 9:am start. It's my understanding that they start practice at 9:am anyways. Schools out so travel shouldn't be an issue as far as needing to devote other time to studies. Don't know when they're arriving but you would think a few days before would be enough time to get used to some sunshine. These are 18-22+ year olds. Different energy level than most on here. I'm more worried about the focus from the OC and DC.
  11. When fortunate I saw names in the defensive backfield I've never seen before. Honestly I'm not that worried. The Ducks blew out JMU in the 1st half and for all intents and purposes would've piled on another 34 in the 2nd half with the starters if needed. The end result was never in question but fans like a blowout and didn't get one so now the sky's falling. Give JMU credit for keeping the pedal to the metal and not letting up. I doubt we'll see any kind of let down agaisnt TTU.
