  1. To settle the bye issue have all teams take a bye week 7. 6 in a row to start and 6 in a row to finish. Equal rest for all. But then WT heck would sports media have to talk about? Pro football of course.
  2. If this was the 4 team playoff the Ducks would've had one game with who knows who in a hopefully a decent bowl game but that's it. Instead they got 3 playoff games. The fans and the players got a 3 game extension for the season. To me this was the funnest Duck season yet. Playing teams we didn't used to play in stadiums we'd never see back in the P12. I can remember when the Ducks would break into the top 25. That was a big moment. Then the next week they'd lose and never see the top 25 again and be fighting to make a bowl game. Times have changed for the better for this Duck fan.
  3. So does that mean players being interviewed after the game will be thanking their sponsors and God?
  4. Looking at the schedule I only see two games that will be tough. OSU and USC. Both away games. Just don't see losing to USC but OSU depending on the date could be rough. Still questions about the new OC and which direction he goes. Not really to concerned about the new DC. Lanning and Hampton should be fine. Team wise I think this years team should be an absolutely offensive juggernaut. Looking at the returning players and newcomers there's nothing but a huge upside to the offence. Defence should be as good as last year or better. No way of knowing how the Ducks will finish conference wise and what seeding the'll get in the CFP so I'm not going out on a limb and say they 100% win it all. But I do see them making the final 4 again and even all the way to the final 2. Right now I say they have an 80% chance to win the CFP.
  5. How important is a CO-OC and CO-DC? Both new coordinators were CO's. Not being involved in anyway with coaching duties does anyone have a good take on how much input they have with play calling and pregame analysis? Mehringer seems to have a decent resume and DL has been around him for 4 (?) years. Hampton's been there for 3 years so again DL has a better idea of his abilities. I guess the question is how much each will change what we had before.
  6. I think the last time I won the Ducks lost too. Good thing I dont win very often.
  7. If he does in fact leave some team will be lucky. Great effort last night.
  8. I'm by no means a competent player evaluator but from what I've seen, Moore has not really progressed this year. I'm afraid we may already be seeing his upside. Against average defences he does great. When D's are really good he chokes. 2 more years at Oregon would be ideal or would it?
  9. Difference last night was a 3 year starter vs a 1 year starter. I don't really count his UCLA starts since it was a mess. IMO he should finish his time at Oregon, win the Heisman and be the 1st round NFL QB pick. He's going to go to some suck NFL team and get beat up so why not enjoy college like Bo and Dillon did then take your chance in the NFL.
  10. Always. I watched the whole beatdown. It was tough but theres always next year. It just seems like when they get this close theres always a bunch of woulda coulda shoulda's. Sucks.
  11. 30-20 Indiana 1 TO 2 Sacks 305 passing.
  12. I dont remember what game it was this year but NW played like an absolute beast. Hopefully he finds that gear again.
  13. George Wrighster has a good analysis of the IU/UO game and shows where Dante missed several WR's on one play several times throughout the game. He's not ready for the NFL and hopefully comes back for another season. He's the key to a win Friday night.
