  1. I would like to see a repeat of the last time a team named OSU pounded ND to the tune of 41-9.
  2. I would like to see better production in the 3rd qtr. How many times did the Ducks come out with the ball starting the 3rd qtr and flop? Not sure if it's from the lack of adjustments or lack of player energy. Personnel changes from 2023 to 2024? Oregon ranked 95th in 3rd qtr scoring with scoring average of 4.5 pts in 2024. In 2023 they averaged 8.9 pts in the 3rd qtr. That would've placed them at 13th tied with CO and Syracuse. At home they scored 5.2 and away they scored 3.9. Is it Stein not making adjustments or Lanning not getting the players fired up or the opposing DC making adjustments? Such a big deal about the middle 8 but it fizzled more times than not.
  3. Thats why they're not a hot topic at 13-0. Fooled too many times. Maybe next year.
  4. My gut thinks this will be a close game like last time. But just for fun the Ducks find their mojo midway in the 3rd qtr and pull out a 38-24 win.
  5. I won't feel it a success unless the Ducks make the natty and win or lose. Getting knocked out by tOSU will only fan the flames of bias and further reinforce the idea that the Ducks can't win the big one. Going 13-0 then losing the 1st game in the CFP will feel like the season is unfinished.
  6. My concern is the long wait period before the Ducks play on Jan 1st. As is with most long wait periods for bowl games it seems that teams are a little rusty or slow to gel in the 1st qtr and into the 2nd. OSU just had a great game and has a much shorter wait time to play again. This game makes me really nervous for that reason. A sluggish start won't cut it.
