Im going to ask a Question about Cristobal.
It'll never happen as long as MC is coach. Barely counting last year, he's had four seasons to develop an offensive style that could win an NC. His style is a consistent mess when it comes to clock management and play calling. I've seen games where Oregon's got the kickoff and on the 1st series he's already calling a time out. That kind of mismanagement is what will keep him out of an NC game. In fact unless the CFP is expanded I don't ever see MC taking the Ducks to the CFP's.

Cristobal interview and each fan gets one question, what will it be?
Who calls the plays on offence?

If Oregon's Coaching gets even Worse and the Team loses a Bunch, will you support the Beavs if they keep doing Good?
Can barely stand to watch them when they're at home on TV. That gawd awful chainsaw crap is so back woods irritating. I like to see them lose but sometimes I do root for them like the last game against UW. Definitely root for them in bowl games like I do for every other P12 team except UW. Needless to say I'm already nervous about this years CW game. Or whatever it's called.

Do you "HATE" Stanford?
It wasn't Furds fault the Ducks lot and the few fans they have seem very cordial.

Time For Hope: Let The Freshman Play
Will the AB that beat Ohio St ever return? I look at AB like a Country Club pro instructor. They know how to do all the swings and can clearly see what's wrong with my swing but they aren't as gifted as the guys on the tour that make a living playing golf vs being instructors. The CC pro may play in some regional events but will never make the big ones. AB is that kind of QB IMO. He knows the game but isn't gifted enough to make a big impact.

The Time is Now For a New Quarterback
My guess is MC is sticking with AB to keep some continuity until Moorehad returns. Lose to Cal and AB better be gone.
-
Where are Oregons receivers?
They're out there but AB can't throw it close enough for them to catch it or AB runs with the ball. Out of 80 plays AB passed 26 times and ran 12 times. AB only completed 14/26 passes. Dye had 4, CJ had 1. So 21 passes thrown to WR/TE's and of those 21 passes thrown only 9 were caught. I counted 4 late throws in the 1st qtr. AB can't get the ball into the hands of the players that can get the most yards.

INSTEAD OF MARIO WHO WOULD YOU HIRE?
I wanted Kiffin when Taggert quit. Instead got MC.

The Time is Now For a New Quarterback
I'm not a super vapid Duck fan that lives and dies for stat's so I haven't took the time to really look at who's playing and whos hurt other than the obvious. I do wonder WTH happened to the team that played Ohio St? Brown was pretty accurate and as a whole the game plan was solid. I know for a fact that JM was not there and the center Forsythe didn't play. Those IMO are pretty big. There's so many area's to pass the blame too starting with Browns in accuracy which had nothing to do with JM Or Forsythe not being there. But I do wonder and I've heard that MC has stated that he's never had this many injuries on a team before, if those injuries are much deeper than the mantra "Next Man Up" can handle. Oregon's starting a lot of FR and Soph's so when one of them gets hurt there's a 4-5* player waiting but with little experience. It's learn on the fly. Is MC trying to milk as much out of Brown as he can knowing that TT will be learning on the fly? MC doesn't seem like a gambler so I'll be really surprised if TT starts against Cal.

What do you think is the best possible upside for the Ducks this season?
Agree on the RB's but if AB starts then it the SOS. I will be totally shocked if TT starts.

What do you think is the best possible upside for the Ducks this season?
And that's pretty much why I don't see an upside. I have not been shocked by changes except for the Ohio St game. I really thought this was going to be the year. It wasn't like we blew out some podunk team by 60 points. We beat Thee Ohio State after going 0-8 against them. Maybe they're a little overrated? But certainly they'd beat most teams in the P12. Then we nose dive in the next 3 games. Whats gives? I'm just not seeing a positive pattern developing. I like roller coaster rides but only at the amusement park.

What do you think is the best possible upside for the Ducks this season?
IMO this seasons toast as far as the CFP goes. Ducks will be lucky to make the Rose. Too many issues going on right now and with UT, UCLA, WA and Ast on the road I just don't see an upside to the season. Looks like Verdell may be out for the season. JM is still in the hospital. AB's error prone. Lots of key injuries. Way too many obstacles to overcome for the season to have a happy ending. Everyone keeps saying if this or that changes then the Ducks will get better. When's the last time you saw big changes? I haven't seen any consistency in the last 3 seasons. Except for the run up the gut play. The only thing consistent is the inconsistencies. Is the sky falling? No but it ain't bright and sunny either.

Stanford GameDay Thread: Go Ducks!
TT to start the 2nd half? Team needs a spark. Something needs to change. I've never missed watching a Duck game for as long as I can remember. But I'm about done with this cra!.

Could Marcus End Up In Seattle?
As a die hard Steeler fan living in Oregon and hating the Seagulls, I still couldn't root for the gulls with MM as the QB. Gotta draw the line somewhere.

Where is our 2021 Football Schedule?
Does it really matter if it's finalized or not at this time? OOC games are set. Only thing missing is dates for conference games. Times are usually on a weekly basis anyways. Bye weeks will pop up when dates are finalized. I see this schedule every year. I don't know why it takes so long but at the same time does it really matter? The home/away part is decided so all that's needed is a date. Times are never finalized until a week or so before except for some marque games like the Ore St or WA game. I did read that the Ohio St game is up in the air as far as location. Doesn't look like a home and home scenario could be played out in the near future. Reads like it may be a neutral field.
