As a person who remembers watching Texas beating Arkansas 15-14, Nebraska beat Oklahoma 35-31 and USC coming back from 24-0 to beat Notre Dame 55-24, the order seems weird on a few. But I must remember these are rankings by younger folks and not name recognition from someone who has been around for awhile.

As a Ute fan I am atypical and actually like BYU. I would love for them to be a conference game for Utah again. Their fans travel well and there are usually a few of their fans in every town that will help fill the local stadium when they come to town. Lots of good answers here. I just hope that Utah and Oregon have both played well enough that when they do play each other it is a big deal for both teams.

Not challenging Oregon being power ranked higher than Utah, but per the author's own numbers, Utah is ranked higher in all three categories listed. Maybe I am just dimwitted, maybe there are other unlisted categories but just looking at these numbers I don't understand the math. I realize math is not like it was when I was a kid but these do not compute to me.

Would love for Utah to get better recruits but I think they do an exceptional job considering they have to fight through the "you go play in Utah" mentality that still prevails with many folks. It is only recently that the Jazz have been able to bring in a bit higher level of free agent than before. (Lot of good that did by the way)

I see no reason why the Ducks should not rule the North. And if any PAC team can make to the playoff, why not Oregon? They are my second choice for that.

Would like to return to the College World Series. Saw some of it once at Rosenblatt, would like to see it at the new place. Women's College World Series. Final Four would be good. An Olympics would be neat.
