I'm honestly surprised to hear that you guys found him to be impressive. To me he seemed very nervous even to the point that his voice was shakey and timid. To me he just gave off the vibe that he felt like he was in way over his head. Kind of like Helfrich used to be in these settings.
That said, he is a really young guy with a great track record and will probably grow into the job over the coming months and years. It will be interesting to see him give a strong, confident press conference somewhere down the road and go back and compare it to this very shaky one.
I'm a Utes fan but I do wish him and the ducks all the best (except when they're playing us! ).
