  1. A true man of Oregon. I have no doubt that Cam will be successful in life, regardless of what path he chooses. Congratualtions Cam on overcoming all of the obstacles life has thrown your way and from one Duck to another thank you for being such an excellent representative of the Ducks.
  2. While I agree that TT's actions are not compelling, I also agree TThas been given little opportunity to succeed. The play calling when Bo is in the game compared to when TT is in the game is night and day. Against Arizona, TT was only allowed to throw pre-determined swing passes. My guess is that the coaches don't trust TT right now to run the full offense, but I think they need to give him a chance so that they can evaluate what he can and can't do under the bright lights.
  3. I went to a family reunion in North Dakota circa 2013. When I arrived, I was shocked to see all of the young kids (my father's cousins' kids) running around playing football, almost all of them were wearing Duck gear (as was I). My boys (ages 9 and 11 at the time) were treated like heroes when everyone found out that they regularly went to Duck games and had just watched the Ducks beat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. I also have relatives in S. Dakota. Some of them are Duck fans. I have never heard a S. Dakotan profess a love for Stanford.
  4. I went to a Utah game several years back. It was a Thursday night game against UCLA and it was a "Black Out." As you can see from the attached photo, I did not comply, instead wearing my lightning yellow Ducks gear. Didn't get too much grief and had fun tailgating with the Utes fans. Didn't feel any hatred.
  5. I think you are right. I also remember Andre Crenshaw running wild cat in the Rose Bowl against UCLA after Dixon and Leaf were injured. Cody Kempt couldn't get it done so the Chipster dialed up the Wildcat. How did it go? We lost 16-0 in one of the most excruciating games I have ever watched (on TV).
  6. I'm not going to provide the answer, because I relied on Google (I was a big Ducks fan, but only 8 years old), but interesting! That was a tough non-conference schedule in 1977 (at least by today's standards).
  7. He could bring back the "Edge" defense! What that be "something?"
  8. Thank you deshutesduck. This made me laugh out loud on a rainy Monday.
