Oregon State, Washington State File Complaint Against Pac-12 and George Kliavkoff
I don't disagree, but it's my understanding that there are significant liabilities (namely overpayment by Comcast and maybe continuing lease obligation in SF office?). I wonder what is the net result of the accounting of assets and liabilities. Should be easy to determine, but from what I have read (no inside knowledge whatsoever), it doesn't seem like the Pac-12 offices have their s*** together to provide that calculation. If true, another example of how poorly the higher ups operated the conference.

Utah vs. Florida Game Thread…
To me, Florida’s OL play wasn’t just assignment errors that can be easily fixed. It looked like a real weak spot.

Update! ANOTHER Billboard AND Building for Bo?
Whoops, my BAD Oregon. You said exactly that and I misread your post. Please accept my apology. Go Ducks!

Update! ANOTHER Billboard AND Building for Bo?
Oregon, I agree with you completely regarding the purpose of the Bo billboards. But Joey's billboard literally promoted him for the Heisman.

Is Coach Prime Stupid-As-Hell?
I quickly scanned the rosters of the Buffaloes and the Ducks and if the weights listed on the rosters are accurate and my math is correct, CU has 10 players 300 lbs or heavier and the Ducks have 29 players 300 lbs or heavier. Heavier does not necessarily mean better, but it certainly helps to have some beef up front.

Whoa! Phillipina Kyei: 15 Points and 15 REBOUNDS?
Watched the game yesterday. No doubt Phillipina has improved and will be very important piece to the puzzle this year (especially with Sedona out). However, in my opinion, she is not yet a player you can get the ball to on the block and expect a bucket. She shot 6-13 and I don't believe any of her shots were outside of the block. It's early in the season and she will continue to improve and it will be fun to watch her grow. If she becomes nearly automatic in the post, that will really open the outside for shooters such as Rogers. I don't know enough about the top women's college basketball teams to declare that the Lady Ducks are a top 10 team, but I will declare that they should make the tournament and have the tools to make deep run. Go Ducks!!!

I am a Blockhead, a Bumbling Buffoon...or am I Brilliant?
Like many, I thought the D would be better than it was and the O struggle more than than it did. More specifically, I predicted that the combination of Dorlus, Johnson, Sewell and Landing’s creative schemes would result in the Ducks’ D living in the opponents’ backfield. In reality, the Ducks’ D got very little pressure on opposing QBs. I also thought for sure Cardwell would have a breakout season!

Lanning Plays With Fire, Duck Fans Get Burned
As an almost 54 year old life long Duck fan, I appreciate and understand the premise of Charles' article that an injured QB can derail a season. Lots of examples, but Dennis Dixon is Exhibit A. However, I firmly believe that every team should play to win, not play not to lose. I've been a basketball coach for almost 3 decades and practice what I preach. While I agree that running a QB between the tackles has a higher degree of risk, and should not be used repeatedly, if it gives the Ducks an advantage in the game I think it is incumbent on the coaches to use that advantage. I'm also in favor of taking reasonable risks on 4th downs. It's worked most of the season, with the exception of the late 4th down attempt against the Fuskies (which I believe should have been a sneak by Ty under center). Nothing works all of the time, but I am in favor of keeping the pedal to the mtetal and putting pressure on the opposing D as much as reasonably possible and I hope coach Lanning never loses his aggressive tendencies. My $0.02. Your mileage may vary. Go Ducks!!!

Why Mens Basketball Will Bounce Back?
I agree that the return of the injured guards will help a lot (and allow Richardson to play more off the ball). And while the team is struggling to shoot the ball, in my opinion their defense is much improved over last year. Hopefully the improved defense can carry the Ducks until injured players return. But Houston on Sunday is no joke!

An Excellent Article on Cam McCormick
A true man of Oregon. I have no doubt that Cam will be successful in life, regardless of what path he chooses. Congratualtions Cam on overcoming all of the obstacles life has thrown your way and from one Duck to another thank you for being such an excellent representative of the Ducks.

What is the Issue With Ty Thompson?
While I agree that TT's actions are not compelling, I also agree TThas been given little opportunity to succeed. The play calling when Bo is in the game compared to when TT is in the game is night and day. Against Arizona, TT was only allowed to throw pre-determined swing passes. My guess is that the coaches don't trust TT right now to run the full offense, but I think they need to give him a chance so that they can evaluate what he can and can't do under the bright lights.

Ducks Influence College Football Map
I went to a family reunion in North Dakota circa 2013. When I arrived, I was shocked to see all of the young kids (my father's cousins' kids) running around playing football, almost all of them were wearing Duck gear (as was I). My boys (ages 9 and 11 at the time) were treated like heroes when everyone found out that they regularly went to Duck games and had just watched the Ducks beat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. I also have relatives in S. Dakota. Some of them are Duck fans. I have never heard a S. Dakotan profess a love for Stanford.

Why Do Utah Fans HATE OREGON With a Passion?
I went to a Utah game several years back. It was a Thursday night game against UCLA and it was a "Black Out." As you can see from the attached photo, I did not comply, instead wearing my lightning yellow Ducks gear. Didn't get too much grief and had fun tailgating with the Utes fans. Didn't feel any hatred.

Dillingham’s Offense: Four New Elements for Oregon
I think you are right. I also remember Andre Crenshaw running wild cat in the Rose Bowl against UCLA after Dixon and Leaf were injured. Cody Kempt couldn't get it done so the Chipster dialed up the Wildcat. How did it go? We lost 16-0 in one of the most excruciating games I have ever watched (on TV).

The Big Question: Who's Going to Make the Offense go at Oregon?
I'm not going to provide the answer, because I relied on Google (I was a big Ducks fan, but only 8 years old), but interesting! That was a tough non-conference schedule in 1977 (at least by today's standards).
