I talked a friend into joining me at one of the first GameDay's when it was at Autzen. It was dark, we were at the back most of the time and the show was only 2 hrs back then. He's only 2 years older than me(75), but acts 20 years older than that. I don't think he would join me again and the grandkids are busy. I forgot they report from the set on Friday. That might be fun If I can find a parking spot on campus. Fifth Street Market does a rally in the Market Alley on Friday at 5:00. Their will likely be Buckeyes staying at the Hotel that we can harrass.

The wife and I are 29 year season ticket holders. In our younger years we would both go hoarse. You can't yell loud when your voice hurts. I began to whistle. I cup my hands and give it my best "Hey Taxi" whistle. A couple of years ago I got a new neighbor seat mate. Very enthusiastic, athletic, slim lady. She always brings confeti to throw in the air after we score. She can whistle louder and longer than me. I do my embarressed best.

I checked the map and found a river or lake next to all our away games this year except for UCLA. There is not usually water in the LA River, but there is a nice pond on the golf course at the Rose Bowl. Not the traffic and visability there but I bet you can see it from the top of the Rose Bowl. Should Puddles paddle down the Willamtte from Alton Baker Park to Corvallis? A couple of sheriff jet boats and a flotilla of river boats and kayaks in Oregon Green and Yellow would be impressive and a good practice to invade Lake Washington next year.
