  1. Dana Altman voices frustrations over lack of support as season ends in front of a small crowd Dana Altma isn't a person who puts his opinions out into the open very often for the public to hear. He himself admits he's not a promoter and just a basketball coach. So when Altman gave a long rant about his frustrations with his program but also the lack of support Tuesday night at Matthew Knight Arena, it came as a genuine and surprising moment of truth and insight into Oregon's most succesful head coach in program history. "What the heck, we should have had more people here tonight," said a self-admitted frustrated Altman after the Ducks lost at home in the NIT Quarterfinals to Wisconsin. "The guys had played hard. 3300 people, it's not good enough. If it's me, then get rid of me. If you need someone else to be a promoter, do something. 3300 is embarrassing, it really is. I'm not in a great mood, you can clearly tell." Altman opened up the discussion about what really needed to be addressed in the last few seasons and you could tell he was somewhat uncomfortable breaking away from his traditional approach to press conferences. The Oregon men's basketball program's fan support has started to dip and it is starting to become a concern. 5. Oregon's season comes to an end in NIT quarterfinals Oregon faced their first test of adversity in the NIT in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Leading by six with less than five minutes to play the Ducks all of a sudden found themselves down by one with 92 seconds to play in the game. Quincy Guerrier got a driving layup down the right side of the court out of an Oregon timeout to give the Ducks the lead back with 1:27 to play in the game. The Badgers responded on the other end with a massive 3-pointer to go up by two points. Oregon's offense had three looks at a game-tying shot and missed them all. The third attempt by Bittle resulted in a foul by the Badgers, but he missed one of the two free throws. After having to foul five times in 11 seconds to put the Badgers at the line, Wisconsin made both to go up three with 2.2 left to play. Oregon's inbound pass down the court saw the ball land in Guerrier's hands for a good look a the game-tying 3-pointer but the shot missed on the backend of the rim.
