  1. Washington Commanders have formal meeting with Christian Gonzalez, per report The Washington Commanders met with former Oregon Ducks cornerback Christian Gonzalez at the NFL Combine Thursday evening, per Commanders reporter Ryan Fowler. Washington’s biggest need in the 2023 NFL Draft is at cornerback after sending William Jackson III away to the Pittsburgh Steelers before the NFL trade deadline this past season. Kendall Fuller and Benjamin St-Juste are the expected starters for the Commanders as of right now, but many believe Gonzalez has the potential to be the team’s next top defensive back. Apologies to any Commanders fans but personally, I hope he doesn't end up there. That team has been a mess the last couple of years. I'd hate to see him in that environment. With the No. 4 seed in next week's Pac-12 Tournament on the line and Oregon's NCAA Tournament at-large lives hanging in the balance, the Ducks needed to pull out the win. The Ducks did just enough to beat visiting Stanford 73-68 behind one of the best performances of the year by senior center N'Faly Dante. The Ducks finished the regular season 18-13 overall and 12-8 in Pac-12 play. With the victory, the Oregon Ducks will now play the winner between the No. 5 and No. 12 seed on Thursday afternoon.
