  1. This is an interesting read about Jurrion Dickey's experience with NIL, especially after he became a 5*. Dickey, who has seen other highly touted prospects land in tough situations by prioritizing paydays above all else, understands that he must keep the bigger picture in mind. He said he rejected a million-dollar sponsorship because he wasn’t comfortable with the terms of the deal. And though he declined to reveal specifics about his NIL arrangement with Oregon, he said that some other schools’ collectives offered three times as much as the Ducks. “Real love is hard to find these days,” said Dickey, the Bay Area’s highest-rated recruit since Antioch High’s Najee Harris — now a Pro Bowl running back for the Steelers — was the nation’s No. 1 prospect in 2017. “I’m going to Oregon because it’s a place that’s stayed truthful with me.” If Dickey doesn’t sound like a typical high school senior, that’s likely because he’s already dealing with some very grown-up issues. 2. Oregon's NCAA Tournament future still in doubt ahead of Selection Sunday As recently as a few days ago, it seemed like Kelly Graves and the Oregon Ducks had done enough over the final few games of the season to get themselves in a spot to be invited to the NCAA Tournament. It turns out that might have been a little bit too optimistic, unfortunately for Oregon fans. According to the latest edition of ESPN’s bracketology, the Ducks are still listed as the “first team out” with less than a week to go until Selection Sunday. Oregon is done playing, obviously, but there are still other dominoes to fall across the nation. Oregon Basketball: Ducks’ NCAA Tournament future still in doubt DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM At the moment, it looks like the Ducks might miss out on the NCAA Tournament, according to the latest bracketology.
  3. Oregon Football Recruiting 2024 Hot Board: Offensive Line Recruiting is back in full swing as we emerge out of the dead period early on in the month of March. The recruiting calendar is about to pick up in a big way during the spring evaluation period and if Oregon plays its cards right, the Ducks will have most of their 2024 class filled out by the end of the summer. A'lique Terry arrives in Eugene to take over for Adrian Klemm and he'll look to continue Oregon's run of landing elite offensive linemen. Here's a look at some of the top offensive line targets for the Ducks in 2024. Click here to find Oregon's top Offensive Line targets in Ducks Digest.
  4. The Latest With Top 2024 RB Jason Brown Jr. The 5-foot-10, 200-pound running back took an Oregon visit in January and loved what he saw. "I loved it. They pulled out the red carpet for me showing me everything I need to see as a player," Brown said about the visit. "My dad was there so he got to build a relationship with the coaching staff which is really important." He's taken numerous trips to Eugene and has built strong connections with the coaching staff. The Seattle standout is looking for a college to check a number of boxes before he lands at his next spot. "Big thing is flexibility in major. I want to be able to major in what I want to major in. That cliche family feel that a lot of people talk about, but it's really bigger than that. I'm looking to these other men around me as brothers. These are people that are going to mold me in my most developmental years, growing into my real adulthood and I have to make sure that I'm around the people that I can trust with my life." Read about Jason Brown Jr's recruitment in Ducks Digest.
  5. Mackinations: Takeaways from the first three weeks of Duck baseball Through the first three weeks of the season, Oregon sits at 8-3, fresh off a four-game series sweep of San Diego. Heading into the series, it was clear San Diego could swing a little. With six players entering with batting averages over .300 after their first seven games of the season, headlined by Jack Costello, Oregon's young and inexperienced pitching staff was going to be put to the test. Well, all things considered, they passed with flying colors. The Ducks conceded only six runs over four games as Jackson Pace, and Leo Uelmen really solidified their rotation spots. Oregon's season has only worked in sweeps, as the Ducks swept Xavier to start, were swept by UCSB, and then the aforementioned sweepage of San Diego. By that philosophy, UCLA should be in line for four straight wins next weekend. However, we know that's not how baseball works. We know that baseball is a marathon and most certainly not a sprint. It's hard to come away with clear and conclusive takeaways from the first five miles of this marathon of a season, but I will try. 7. Redshirt Review: Ben Roberts Today, we'll continue the series with defensive tackle Ben Roberts. Roberts certainly takes up space at 311 pounds and has requisite athleticism to make that matter. Roberts has a strong lower body with quick feet and plays with tenacity. As a prep in Utah he proved capable of being a difference-maker on both run and pass downs. The staff seemed to like what Roberts showed in practice a season ago, as he traveled to every road game and appeared in four games before sitting out to to maintain his redshirt status. 8. Christian Gonzalez named one of biggest winners of NFL Combine There were a lot of players at the 2023 NFL Combine who were able to take advantage of the opportunity and use it to boost their draft capital, but few were able to do as well as Oregon Ducks cornerback Christian Gonzalez. Gonzalez, who was already projected to be a first-round pick heading into the combine, might have propelled himself up the board a bit based on his measurables and on-field performance. 10. Photo Gallery: Former Oregon Ducks perform well at 2023 NFL Combine The 2023 NFL Combine is now behind us, and the six Oregon Ducks who were in attendance should feel pretty good about how things went. At the top of the charts was cornerback Christian Gonzalez, a player who went into the combine as a projected first-round pick, but may have raised his draft stock to the point where it’s possible he’s taken inside the top 10. Players like DJ Johnson and Noah Sewell also performed well, while offensive linemen Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu and T.J. Bass held their own. Alex Forsyth suffered a hamstring tweak at the combine, limiting him in most drills. However, he still came away with a solid combine grade, and will have a chance to put up some numbers at Oregon’s Pro Day on March 14. Here are some of the best pictures of the Ducks at the combine. 11. Dana Altman 'not sure' where Oregon stands entering conference tournament Several teams, specifically the ones on the bubble, are taking note of their position for the NCAA Tournament. Even with Oregon on the outside looking in, though, Dana Altman isn’t entirely sure, or at least isn’t very interested, in any opinions about where the Ducks are projected at the moment. All Altman said he was worried about following his team’s 73-68 win over Stanford is that they have the momentum of three straight wins behind them as they enter the Pac-12 Tournament. From there, he is focused on maintaining Oregon’s defensive success while also finding enough contributors on the offensive end. 12. Five takeaways from Oregon softball's fourth weekend of the season Oregon traveled to Fullerton, CA for the Judi Garman Classic last week in hopes of navigating a six-game stretch that began on Thursday morning against Fresno State. The No. 20 Ducks beat the Bulldogs 6-2 before losing to Minnesota 4-1 to lead-off Friday on a sour note. From there, Oregon closed the weekend on a three-game win streak, beating Cal Poly (15-1), San Jose State (6-2), and Loyola Marymount (9-0 (5)). The Ducks’ weekend-closing matchup with Long Beach State on Sunday was canceled due to poor weather conditions. After the 4-1 trip to Fullerton, Oregon moved to 16-4 on the season and will make the quick shift to conference play on a three-game win streak. Today, we’ll take a moment to go over the key notes from the Ducks’ fourth weekend of the regular season: Five takeaways from Oregon softball's fourth weekend of the season 247SPORTS.COM Oregon traveled to Fullerton, CA for the Judi Garman Classic last week in hopes of navigating a six-game stretch that began on...

  14. Rikuu Nishida hits first career home run as Oregon completes four-game sweep of San Diego A week after being swept in a three game series by Santa Barbara, the Ducks move to 8-3 on the season with their sweep of San Diego. On Sunday, Oregon took game four, 5-1, behind a home run driven approach in the first three innings. Rikuu Nishida, Colby Shade, and Gavin Grant all hit solo shots to put the Ducks on top early and for good. Nishida, who hit seven home runs in Japan as a high schooler, is considered to have 20-grade power — the lowest grade for a baseball prospect — Nishida’s home run energized the Ducks dugout and set the tone for what would be an abnormal game. “So good, so good,” said Nishida on how it felt to finally hit a home run. “It was the first time (I) hit a home run since I came here. It was fun.” Rikuu Nishida hits first career home run as Oregon completes four-game sweep of San Diego 247SPORTS.COM A week after being swept in a three game series by Santa Barbara, the Ducks move to 8-3 on the season with their sweep of San Diego.
