Bo Nix's return keeps Ducks in contention for another special run Bo Nix beat Dante Moore to the punch by about 16 hours. Nix will be Oregon's starting quarterback in 2023, and Moore will be on UCLA's roster instead. No one should minimize the recruiting trail loss. The five-star would've acted as the program's top-rated quarterback signee ever. I think it's also important not to minimize the roster retention win. We have a tendency to become fixated on the potential of something rather than appreciate the known. Nix is a known commodity. However, the 6-foot-7, 330-pounder is now picking up multiple predictions to flip to the Alabama Crimson Tide rather than the Ducks after his weekend visit to Tuscaloosa. 'A dangerous duo;' Ashton Cozart, Jurrion Dickey look to future as teammates One of the biggest reasons Oregon Duck fans have enjoyed the start of the 2022 season so much is it brought the return of a deep passing game to Eugene and uncovered one of the best wide receivers the Ducks have seen in quite some time: Troy Franklin. With Dickey ranked by 247Sports as the No. 2 WR in 2023 (No. 14 player overall) and Cozart ranked the No. 17 WR (No. 152 player overall), it’s clear an incredibly talented duo of pass-catchers is set to take over in Eugene.
