Cam McCormick contemplating return to Oregon for eighth season The Oregon native's persevere has been well documented. Serious injuries cost him his 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 seasons. McCormick shocked many when he sought extra eligibility after suffering a torn achilles against Ohio State a season ago. He received national recognition earlier this week when he became the recipient of this year's Capital One Orange Bowl-FWAA Courage Award. It might be good that this is coming out with Moore now. There is nothing worse than an unhappy QB down the road who disrupts team chemistry. No matter how good a QB is in high school, there is no guarantee that he can start and do well in college right away. The odds are very low. I think it is a good idea for Moore to sit back and learn from a good college QB. No matter how good he thinks he is, he still has a lot to learn.

Perhaps it's better to get a QB through the Transfer Portal...You have college film to look at abilities...Bigger gamble (unknowns) with a HS recruit
