Living in Portland and going to elementary school in the 50s. Had to pick a side in the Civil War. Couldn’t stand the black and red unis, and as a Packer fan, choosing the Ducks was easy. Fell in love with the Casanova teams, especially Bob Berry, Mel Renfro and Dave Wilcox. Was honored to wear #15 as a hs quarterback.

I can’t help but think how we would have responded if Riley had been hired as the new Duck coach.

Can’t blame them for being optimistic. Significant upgrade at HC and QB. Also believing they OL can be coached up by the new staff. Many have opined that the Pac 12 needs U$C to be relevant. Might be happening.

After a trip to the CFP, Michigan comes in at #20.

In the Ryan Young article, it appears that the coaches were targets of Graham’s behavior as much as the players. My hope is that Lanning and his staff learned how not to coach from Graham. Many have had better models to compare, such as Kirby Smart.
