  1. Of couse everyone wants in either the Big 10 or SEC but thats a horrible idea of a loose partnership with the ACC it will be no different then the first supposed alliance the ACC will get raided soon and everyone will be abandoning ship looking for a life boat to get on when you had it with the Big 12
  2. That has nothing to do with anything with whats going on now and the future
  3. lol no the Big 12 with added Pac 12 teams is clearly way ahead of the ACC
  4. All you would be is in a partnership with the ACC they cannot renegotiate their contract with another conference that's not how it works it makes very little sense to try and get another Pac 12 TV deal that would be pretty small which would blow up once the SEC and Big 10 raids the ACC
  5. Your payout is not going to be good as it would in a strengthened Big 12 and having a partnership, alliance whatever you wanna call it will just end the same way as it just did the ACC has a huge target on their backs and will be raided anytime now
  6. Not going to work the ACC will get raided and then the Pac 12 would be screwed again
  7. According SI's Pat Forde, a source has told him Notre Dame's most likely option (and preference) is to remain independent in football. Conference realignment is all the rage right now, and the assumption is that Notre Dame will finally stop being independent and join the Big 10. That seems to be at least a few years away, as sources in Notre Dame indicate that not only is remaining independent their preference, but it's also the current leader in terms of options. Two things could force their hand however, which are the dissolution of either the ACC or the College Football Playoff which has it's contract expiring in 2026. There's always been the assumption that the playoff will stick around and expand, but with all this shuffling who knows. Source: Nick Selbe on SI Jul 4, 2022, 7:34 PM ET If so the Big 12 is the best option for Oregon
  8. If the Big 12 and Pac 12 merged could make two 11 teams divisions this all depends on what Notre Dame does if they don't join the Big 10 Oregon and Washington will have no choice thoughts? WVU, Kansas, Kansas St, UCF, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Houston Oregon, Oregon St, Arizona, Arizona St, Washington, Washington St, Utah, Stanford, BYU, Cal, Colorado Play everyone in your own division that would be 10 games giving teams 2 open spots for whoever
  9. Obviously the best option is if the Big 10 offers Oregon a spot but if they don't the 2nd best option is the Big 12
  10. https://twitter.com/MHver3/status/1543722133842530304?s=20&t=OpsBaR0hPruz0d5tyv4OBg Big rumor! Notre Dame has allegedly made the ACC an offer they can’t accept to join that conference in all sports. Once the ACC declines the ridiculous terms of the offer ND is free to pursue other options. Take it with a grain of salt-not my usual source.
  11. Not sure if this allowed but here is this link College football conference realignment: Four Pac-12 teams in discussions to move to Big 12, per report 247SPORTS.COM ...
  12. If Notre Dame doesn't join they probably won't until the next raid which would be when the SEC decides to add ACC schools leaving Oregon and the rest of the Pac 12 no choice but to join the Big 12 until that time happens
  13. I have a feeling Notre Dame doesn't join the Big 10 and with that they don't expand any further for awhile leaving Oregon and the rest of the Pac 12 no choice but to join the Big 12 because the Pac 12 is not gonna survive adding schools from the Mountain West
  14. Notre Dame is holding things up if they don't join the Big 10 then Oregon would have no choice but to join the Big 12 in a merger
  15. WVU won't be left out they rank 30th in TV viewership rankings the best option for the Big 12 and Pac 12 is a full merger Which college football programs bring in the most TV viewers? | by Zach Miller | Run It Back With Zach | Medium MEDIUM.COM TV viewership isn’t always the best way to measure a college football program’s value. But here’s how each school ranks since...
