I wish they had played”up” to the level of Georgia. Of course “that ship has sailed”…..and it was great to see a complete game….with competent tackling…..vs. the No. 12 team in the country!

How can a major college team be so utterly inept at tackling?

They might be Top-20 in the PAC-10, though!

Georgia is that good. That’s the quality of team that Oregon used to be…….before the slide starting with Helfrich began. Off of today’s game, I can only hope we’ve hit bottom, and can only rise from here. That was a non-competitive beatdown today…..the likes of which I hope we never see again.

Off of Oregon’s performance today, is that like being the best turd in the bowl? Ouch! That was sad to watch. SO disappointing to see how non-competitive we are with the country’s top football teams. Hopefully, Lanning’s team can rise from this like Chip’s did from the Boise State game. At least….it would be nice to see that there’s nowhere to go from here, except “up”……..

How many punts does UGA have? just a suggestion from an amateur observer: Ducks might benefit from a little coaching on a football skill called: “tackling” What does this national tv exposure say to the nation about Oregon and PAC-12 football? Maybe…….this game will be for Lanning, like Boise State was for Chip. Maybe. We can hope!

We can only hope that Lanning’s Oregon teams are soooo successful that other programs, or the pros, will throw an “offer he can’t refuse” at him. After all, isn’t that the kinda success we Duck fans want? We can only hope, that, if we are able to achieve such giddy success, that the Coach has an even more compelling reason to stay at UO. But,…….let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We’ve got a lot of winning to do first!
