My reaction to a click-bait two-paragraph article like that?

🤮

More nonsense...yeah, Clemson and Florida State are going to break their ACC contract this week.

We'll just wait and see...

At this point it's all about Fox and what Fox wants.

They did preface that blurb by saying it was rumor. That is journalistic integrity, for sure.

I must admit that would make for a heck of a conference.

That is a major stretch.  Did anyone catch the ads?

Lol! I understand all the skepticism. I myself didn't believe the rumors about Colorado until it happened. And with GK painfully silent about the PAC-12 media deal, I'm not surprised anymore about bombshells happening within the conference lol.

In light of all the so-called rumors going on, I thought this was an interesting cynical take of what college football is turning into.  I know it's from our hated dogs up North.  But...

What Should the UW Do For a Conference? Here's a Super Idea

The future, at least for college football, looks preordained.

Sorry for the dupe post. This rumor belongs in Fantasy Land but what in the heck do I know?

I do not see B1G Prez taking in non-AAU member schools Clemson and FSU when the B1G doesn't need the money and already extends coast-to-coast. Why would Ohio State, Michigan, etc., want to recruit against Clemson and FSU? Who is going to come up with $60M plus for each school in alimony payments?

The only reason this has a heartbeat IMO would be Fox Network's determination to hose over ESPN.

Can't wait till actual football games begin. It's really tiresome to hear about politics in sports. Isn't sports supposed to be a distraction, something fun? Secret board meetings, media deals, conference loyalties vs royalties.  Sounds like some soap opera to me.

And how badly Fox wants to screw over ESPN.

IF the rumor is true, they’d have to rename the B1G, the JL18 - for jet lag.
