August 28, 20231 yr I wonder how many times during his recruitment visit Dante was told he'd be the starter in Westwood. Now they'll play him his 4 games, probably spaced out during the season to try to keep him from skipping town. Honestly, did he not do his homework on how many times Chip Kelly has started a true freshman? DTR and that's because he had no choice.

Starting Pac-12 transfer QBs in 2023 - UW, WSU, OR, OR St, Cal, USC, AZ, Utah, CU. SEC - TN, So Car, KY, UF, Mizzou, Bama (?), Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU. B1G - Purdue, NEB, Iowa, Wisconsin, NW, Ill, Maryland, IN. This is the new norm and not the exception.

UCLA has a 3-game lightweight (although watch out for Coastal Carolina) OOC schedule. This should give Dante playing opportunities. The Bruins open the Pac-12 season in week 4 at Utah, I will not be surprised to see Dante start this game.
