Charles Fischer Author Administrator No. 5 Share Posted October 2, 2023 Really good article... Oregon's defense starting to morph into what they envisioned at the start of the season 247SPORTS.COM The Oregon Duck defense is rolling and they are starting to live up to the image and reputation they envisioned at the start of fall camp. 2 1 Mr. FishDuck

This is what separates the men from the boys. The vast improved of the D from last year is really sumed up in that stat. Last year's D where in the right place allot of the time but just couldn't finish. I'm sure one of the coaches on here could comment further on angles, technique and positioning that had improved, future article wink wink.
HappyToBeADuck No. 7 Share Posted October 2, 2023 Charles thanks for posting these great defensive numbers. Awesome way to end this great weekend. As 5 of out last 7 conference games will be against Top 25 teams this Top 10 defense will be instrumental in those outcomes. While not all of our opponents can match the Ducks scoring production. Just uscsuck and the huskies.....WSU, Utah and the Beavers can and will battle till the end. So the Duck defense can make the difference.... Especially in the trap game Nov 18th against ASU in the desert. If the Duck offense falters I fully expect the Duck D to shut out the Sun Devils offense. Gosh its fun to get excited when the Duck D is on the field... GO DUCKS........

Does USC crack the top 100 on D? The Grinch Matador School fights on in LA. It takes a lot of practice to so efficiently whiff.
Augduck No. 12 Share Posted October 2, 2023 (edited) Not only awesome to see them make in game adjustments but even better that they recognized they needed to! That did not seem to happen a lot in the past. Also did you catch Dan acknowledging in his post game presser that he did not manage the clock as effectively as he should have at the end of the half? Acknowledgement of an error (albeit not a game changer) also something that did not happen in the past.
