FishDuck Article Administrator No. 1 Share Posted October 2, 2023 So far this season, the Oregon Ducks are averaging 232 yards per game on the ground, which is good for seventh in the nation. HappyToBeADuck No. 4 Share Posted October 2, 2023 Thanks Coach for the insights on these plays. It is fun to look for them when i get the opportunity ro rewatch the games. As Charles mentioned this play has gained the Duck O a ton of yardage. As long as the O lineman fire off at the snap and bring there pad level down against uw this play will be an effective weapon. That first 18-20 minutes against FURD some of the O line had no energy and were just standing up at the snap. GO DUCKS! Beat the dogs......

Drake Moderator No. 6 Share Posted October 2, 2023 Thanks Coach. Bucky is such a good RB for this type of play. The slight misdirection can get an overly aggressive LB out of position. Bucky’s agility and vision take over from there, as he seems to only need a nanosecond to find the gap to run through. If the LB is even slightly out of position, not many arm tackles are going to bring him down, and if he gets by the LBs, as shown….big yardage.
Desert Duck No. 7 Share Posted October 2, 2023 Thanks for sharing this info and awesome detail. And one other thing that I like about this specific instance is that from the time the defense made first contact with Bucky, he continued forward to gain another 11 yards.
