December 9, 20231 yr There's no place like home. He will be missed. Our S&C team did an outstanding job this year. We were stronger and faster at every position. However, I'm sure coach DL has a short list of excellent replacements. As our (and his) success continues, we can expect regular poaching of assistants and staff. Remember, strength & conditioning coaches spend more time with players year round than even position coaches do. They are a very important, but unheralded group of very influential people. Like a long snapper. No one knows their name, but boy are you in trouble without one.
December 9, 20231 yr Administrator Best of luck in Starkville. The "Corvallis of the SEC?" Mr. FishDuck
December 9, 20231 yr This ties into the ‘is there a DeBoer problem’ post by @Haywarduck Coaching continuity matters and the more successful the program the harder it is to maintain (I suppose a better problem to have than the opposite dynamic). Hopefully folks are right that DL has some good folks in his network Edited December 9, 20231 yr by CalBear95
