How funny would it be if Sark (a former UW coach) brings the Husky season to an end? Granted... Sark wasn't fired from Washington, he left for the greener pastures of USC. Jon Joseph Moderator No. 7 Share Posted December 24, 2023 Hats Off to our new Northwestern brothers. Taking down Utah and winning by far the LOS in the process. Against a team that usually wins the LOS 8-5 in a season where NW was left for dead and a win over a team ticketed to do significant things in the B12 in 2024, Not on Oregon's 2024 schedule which is a good thing, NW is a team that lifts its weight well above recruiting rankings. Bowl guru Coach Whit is now 0-5 in his last 5 bowl games. GO B1G!

Haywarduck Moderator No. 9 Share Posted December 24, 2023 Isn't this just the 2022 Alamo Bowl part 2? The dawgs came out strong and held on to win last years Alamo Bowl against Texas. Neither of these coaches has won a truly big bowl game. It could be argued Deboer has won in the little leagues, but the Sugar Bowl is another level. I would guess it will be won in the 1st quarter. You don't want to get behind against a Deboer led team. The 1st quarter will tell if Sark has the coaching chops to out duel the latest wonder coach. So far DeBoer owns Sark, can Sark do what Lanning couldn't do, beat this guy? I don't think so, but doubt DeBoer can get through the next challenge.
