Also keep Dante out of foul trouble and on the floor. Do this and the Ducks roll! GO DUCKS!!!
Autzen Magic No. 3 Share Posted March 21 No one asked, but here is my prediction: The Ducks will control the boards, limit their turnovers and defend the 3 point line to advance to the Round of 32. Ducks 67 - (the other) USC 60 Go Ducks!!!
MicroBurst61 No. 4 Share Posted March 21 Got a weird feeling this one will go down to the wire. Dante fed down low and gets the "and one" and sinks the freethrow to win the game by one; sorta feeling. But, I'll take a Double Digit Duck win and help keep my blood pressure under control, anytime. Go Ducks Tourney Basketball!!

Autzen Magic No. 8 Share Posted March 21 Agreed. Way too many turnovers. Ducks need to value each possession.
MicroBurst61 No. 9 Share Posted March 21 What a "lil harasser" Rigby is. Not much for scoring but man does he enjoy disrupting other teams flow.
MicroBurst61 No. 10 Share Posted March 21 Ok...wrong team butttt...what a three quarter shot by the gamecocks. Half to go and we be doing well. Ready for a dominating second half by OBD? GO Ducks!
Autzen Magic No. 11 Share Posted March 21 Well .... Too many turnovers (9), but much better the last 10 minutes. Even on the boards, but the Gamecocks got too many offensive boards early (the other) USC has four 3 pointers, not bad, but that foul on a 3 point shot (which allowed 2 made free throws) hurt. Even with all of that, Ducks lead by 5 after desperate heave by S. Carolina. Take care of the basketball, attack the basket, get the ball down low to Dante and make free throws and the Ducks advance. Go Ducks!!! 1
JabbaNoBargain No. 12 Share Posted March 21 Good half, still think that shot was not away in time. We could still lose, but this makes me question how good the SEC actually was. These guys finished 1 game out of first in a conference with 5 ranked teams? These guys clearly aren’t superior to us by any stretch. 1
SoGaDawg No. 13 Share Posted March 21 Ducks playing very good defense, moving the ball well on offense, and seemed to have settled with the turnovers. Dante is being Dante, get him the ball down low and don’t turn it over! Ducks looking good, just keep it up!!!

JabbaNoBargain No. 15 Share Posted March 21 (edited) Dante licking his chops, their big man listed as 6’8 260…I call even those measurements into question. Looking good! Edited March 21 by JabbaNoBargain

Dave23 No. 17 Share Posted March 21 Couisnard is having one of those games! Keep up the intensity and Don't let them back into the game.
Desert Duck No. 18 Share Posted March 21 What a bummer. With 11:55 to go in the game, Dante has missed a shot. He's only 6/7 so far. Dude really needs to regroup and step it up. C'mon Ducks... Finish this game strong!!
Autzen Magic No. 19 Share Posted March 21 Couisnard taking his former team to the woodshed. 6:57 left -- too early to play not to lose (keep attacking) but take care of business the next 3-4 minutes and then we can take the air out of the ball. Go Ducks!!!
MicroBurst61 No. 20 Share Posted March 21 Couisnard, today, is THE MAN! 1
Autzen Magic No. 21 Share Posted March 21 3:56 left KJ hit these two free throws, make S. Carolina take some time on offense (no quick easy drives to the hoop) and don't turn the ball over and start preparing for the Bluejays. Make sure Couisnard and Dante get a post-game ice bath and a massage.

MicroBurst61 No. 23 Share Posted March 21 Agreed. Best, complete, defensive game this season. Play this way each game during the tourney and you will be a hard out. Now I'm regretting my Tennessee over Oregon in the Elite Eight. SEC doesn't seem that, indomitable, after watching what OBD just did to the team that placed second. Great way to open up the Tourney. On to Creighton! Go Ducks Tourney Basketball!

Desert Duck No. 29 Share Posted March 21 They went from hitting 12% of their 3s against the Buffs, to hitting 44% today. Nice. And they were smokin hot from the 2 at 60%. 1

Great win for the Ducks!!! I’m pulling for the Ducks every time. Make no mistake though, the SEC brings some good teams. TN, KY, and Auburn are very good.
Jon Joseph Moderator No. 31 Share Posted March 21 Shut Everything Closed USC (E). South Carolina follows Mississippi State in losing 1st round games to B1G (or soon-to-be B1G) teams. Dana going against his former employer will be fun. Creighton played a sloppy game and still picked up an easy win. The Illinois win keeps the (New) B1G undefeated to date in the NIT and The Tourney. Another bird awaits plucking. Beat the Bluejays!
The Grateful Duck No. 32 Share Posted March 21 My opinion, this game started and ended with defense. The Ducks showed up on the defensive end. OBD's big men dominated. Whoop!

Sandy Rocks No. 36 Share Posted March 21 What an incredible game. The team really dominated. Couisnard was a beast. I saw that South Carolina was ranked 16th in the country. They sure didn't play like it. Maybe they had a bad day, like being plucked to death by some ducks. I am so proud of this team, what a journey. I hope it lasts awhile longer.
