Oregon Ducks Send Strong Message To Rival Washington Huskies in Big Ten

Recommended Posts

Oregon Ducks coach Dan Lanning has never beaten the Washington Huskies. Entering his third season as head coach, the Ducks rivalry with the Huskies is thriving as they both enter the Big Ten. Oregon linebacker Jeffrey Bassa says it'd "mean the world" to give Lanning his first win over Washington.

It would be nice to play UW in the B1G opener and not in the last game of the regular season when Fisch should have the team significantly improved.

Regardless, kick the Huskies in the tail. QUACK!

By the end of the season everyone’s starters are going to be hurting. I think our depth will play a big factor against the puppies, and if somewhat healthy our OL and DL overpowers them in a potential bad weather game.

They'll be better by th end of the season.

But so will the Ducks and Oregon will have major depth.

Washington the last two seasons got lucky. Especially last season the got really lucky for the entirety of the season where they just avoided any significant injuries. While also having a roster full of 5th and 6th year players.

Washington doesn't have that kind of roster this year and if they suffer a couple of key injuries they might not even make a bowl game.

Also... Not sure how Oregon managed to play their worst games of the year against the Huskies.

Yep, I think late is good when an opponent has questionable depth.

In particular, Penix to Odunze, Polk or McMillan
