August 8, 20241 yr Administrator One thing that stands out to me...is the incredible number of young defensive linemen and linebackers. Quality depth and more! Mr. FishDuck
August 8, 20241 yr I haven't seen any comparison of weights back to last year yet, but the media reports from those watching practices have commented on the significant size increases over last year. Edit, if anything weights are down on the whole for the offense with a few exceptions on the line, D doesn't show too much increase. Maybe the reporters just forgot how big our guys are, or a lot of the smaller individuals have moved on and the noobs are bigger. Edited August 8, 20241 yr by Solar
August 8, 20241 yr Moderator There is good weight and bad weight depending on the position. The amount of calories these guys need to maintain, lose, or gain weight is monitored regularly. Some guys maintain their weight and add muscle, others will add weight and muscle. The season is longer now, and I know how much it cost to feed my kids. Any guesses as to the cost of maintaining the training table for +100 guys over an entire season? 😳

And amplafy the cost by the number of those massive linemen and the muscle mass these athletes have. The amount of calories needed to build and maintain those athletic bodies is insane.
