Wowsa. UCLA Has FOUR Starters Who Transferred from Oregon?

Recommended Posts

Safety No. 4 Bryan Addison

Corner No. 6 Jaylin Davies  (cited for pass interference twice against Indiana)

Tight End No. 88 Moliki Matavao

Defensive Tackle No. 99 Keanu Williams

These are all good players, but the truth is...they would not be starting at Oregon right now, thus transferring out was the best thing for them.

Only player we actually miss as he would be getting good snaps at Oregon still. He was getting a ton at Oregon in 2022 before he transferred.

But would he?  He left before Kenyon Sadiq joined us, thus we have three TEs to play, and Matavao is starting for the Bruins.  We need to be playing Sadiq for building future depth; with Matavao--we would have three senior TEs.  I'm OK with him transferring..

Well he would have had a lot of snaps last year at the very least.

This year.. probably not as much.

In 2022 he had a lot of playtime and was complementary with T Ferg.

I think it depends on how well he would have done with Bo as his QB. He kind of disappeared in UCLA's offensive system.
