Marshall did thunder down the field and had a 7-0 lead, but Ohio State has tied the score. 

 

End of the first quarter and I am not scared of Ohio State. Marshall is playing very patient and moving the ball with a nice variety of run and pass. No gimmicks just taking what Ohio State is giving.

 

Ohio State leads Marshall 49-14 at the start of the 4th quarter, the Buckeyes' first test of the season will be at Michigan State next week. None of us would be complaining if Oregon had blown through their first 3 games like Ohio State did. But is there any benefit to actually having to face some adversity over playing 3 cupcakes?

How do I know there's a rivalry between Oregon and USC? It will make my day if USC loses to Michigan!

Michigans goes for it on 4th and a foot on their 35 and get it.

Saturday's college football game between Colorado and Baylor marks the first meeting between these two schools since 2010...

 

Two transfers from Oregon State starting on USC defense, which just got run over by a 53-yard touchdown run by Michigan. 7-0. 

Michigan is dominating USC, but only a 7 point lead.

Near miss INT by Michigan, but they force another punt by USC.

Michigan playing smashmouth, another TD run, 14-0.

UM just scored another TD. USC's D-line getting blown out by Michigan O-line.

So far, it looks like it would be better to have USC on the Ducks, schedule than Michigan. 

USC finally shows some offense, but Michigan's D holds them to a field goal, 14-3. 

Michigan is looking tough at halftime.  Great D.  Can the Ducks stop their running game?

Either the USC OL is bad or Michigan’s front 7 is great. 

Whew, Michigan looks like they did last year; so does USC.

I think USC is one dimensional. Their run game isn’t good.

The ACC is horrible. Mario will easily have a first round bye.

The ACC shouldn't be a Power Conference, it has two football teams.

USC completely one dimensional, forget running. Michigan's D should be able to figure that out.

USC has been terrible in the trenches for years and I didn't expect a significant difference this year even with the new DC. 

 

Michigan on the other hand has had a solid defense for a while, it was the offense that was a concern for this season. Seems they may have found a solution in Orji.

So, Ohio State beat Marshall by a familiar sounding score, 49-14. I just read in a Forum Without Decorum, that the officials must have been Ohio State alumni.

Looks like they'll need some more, USC, completely one dimensional, has the momentum.

Pick-6 for Michigan, makes it 20-10. I guess USC will have to pass now. 

Michigan just got a pick 6. Game is over IMHO. USC is one-dimensional and has no answer for Michigan's D.

LSU 24 UCLA 17

Michigan chased down a Trojan breaking one on the 4. They hold them out, USC recovers a fumble, 1st & 10 on the 27. 

TD pass for USC, 20-17.

USC can't run, Michigan can't pass. 

LSU 31 UCLA 17

Michigan fumbles, USC recovers on Michigan's 18. 

Michigan 3rd & 16, touchdown pass, leads for the first time in the game, 24-20.  No first downs for Michigan in the 2nd half.

There are definitely holes. I don't think Michigan's defense is so good that USC can't run, the Trojans just live, or die, on their passing game. For a while Michigan got by playing smash mouth, but eventually couldn't run or pass. 

UCLA fading again in the 2nd half, LSU 34-UCLA 17. 

Until that big run, I thought Michigan was just trying to run out the clock...

Michigan finally gets a 2nd half first down, but they need a touchdown, because of a blocked extra point.
