September 21, 2024Sep 21 Moderator Miller Moss should sue for Non-Support. Tough, physical Big Ten game. SC tackled well but 2 missed tackles on Melling's big run to set up a 4th down winning TD. Terrific game. Michigan is one-dimensional on O but will this Ducks D be able to stop the run game in Ann Arbor in November? UCLA gave LSU a battle. Tough ask to fly home to LA and play the Ducks after Oregon had the weekend off. Nice win over ACC Va Tech by Rutgers in Virginia. How about 4-0 Indiana and Illinois and 3-0 Rutgers? MI State is 3-0 with a game tonight at BC.

A two score lead @ Michigan early would help the Ducks immensely. That scheduling quirk is definitely a plus for the Ducks going into the game @ UCLA. Edited September 22, 2024Sep 22 by 30Duck
September 22, 2024Sep 22 Author Administrator Let's switch the discussion of the evening games to the new thread I started on the front page. Utah up by three, has a minute and a half left, the ball, and 3rd and 3. Make this first down and they win the game; Oklahoma State packed nine men in the box, and the Utes still ran through them for the first down. Great blocking gives me the shivers... Mr. FishDuck

I think so. Oregon should have a full set of offensive linemen and a fully cooking offense by then. Which should allow Oregon to establish a run game of their own anf put up more points than USC. USC has some good linemen but no depth. Oregon's defense is deeper and more talented than USC's and by November should be functioning at a high level. Stopping the run and taking away the pass. I think Oregon matches up fairly well. Granted last year i thought we would have matched up well against Michigan but we were poor against Washington so didn't get our shot.
September 22, 2024Sep 22 Moderator Yikes that was some horrendous tackling by the Baylor defense, they had Shedeur dead to rights for that sack. If I were Dave Aranda I’d be pissed!
September 22, 2024Sep 22 Moderator I know it’s beating a dead horse but Colorado’s OL is objectively awful.
