Here are the protocols from when the championship was established.  Clear as mud.  Although there is a great bullet point "Strength of schedule, head‐to‐head competition and championships won must be specifically applied as tie‐breakers between teams that look similar"

Too bad Mullens isn't still on the committee as I am not sure we have any voice now.

Playoff committee needs to own up on the protocols they have established.  At this time as mention before:

OSU:

SOR: 20th

SOS:  93rd

Oregon:

SOR:  12th

SOS:  15th

Head to Head competition, Oregon won.  That's the facts.

With the protocols in place in 2016 tOSU was No.3 in the CFP. Penn State beat tOSU in their game, Penn State and tOSU finished tied for 1st in their Division. Due to their win, Penn State went to the Conference Championship Game, and beat Wisconsin, tOSU went to the CFP.

tOSU lost to Penn State in conference, Penn State lost to Michigan in conference, 49-10 and had a non-conference loss to Pittsburgh, 42-39.

On the Committee, Rich George AD at CU and an also a female professor at ASU.

It is not a PO,  it is an invitational. Disney owns ESPN and ESPN owns the ACC and SEC Networks. You practiced law. In a court of law testimony from ESPN would be excluded for bias. But in the world of CFB?

This is why I never cared for how college playoff system operates.  it would be great if there could ever be a true playoff system, but alas not sure if that will ever happen.  Too much corruption.

Just solidifies that the PC is nothing more than an average bowl selection committee.

Just pick the teams that bring the most fans and the most television eyeballs.

We should maybe just rename it to The Most Benjamin's Generated Playoffs.

I've always said if someone started a 16 team NIT for the CFB teams outside the top 4 Cfp teams starting in early December, ESPN's CFP would fold.

You know it isn't us just taking shots at ESPN.SEC et.al by saying it isn't a Playoff, it's an Invitational. Because that's what it is, The Committee Picks the teams!

Division 2 has a Playoff. The NFL has Playoffs. "March Madness" does have a Committee, and how the Conference Champs are decided is a separate issue, but they are included, and the Champ needs to win 6 games!

ESPN calls it a "Playoff" but it is onlyin name.
