High Praise For Ferguson

Recommended Posts

What are your thoughts on this?  I actually see Ferguson as more of a hybrid of Tony Gonzalez as a run blocker and Travis Kelce as the route runner.

I get I am comparing him to a couple of all-stars before he has played a down in the NFL, but that was what came to mind.

Oregon Ducks tight end Terrance Ferguson has a bright future ahead of him, in the near term and the far term. Ferguson went down...

I don't see him as a star in the NFL, but he could be an important "glue" guy to any offense, and like Johnny Mundt at Minnesota...be hanging around the league quite a while. Mundt is in his seventh year in the NFL, and has a Super Bowl ring from the Rams.  Pretty good for an undrafted TE from Oregon, and Modesto, California!

My thought is Oregon has a long history of underutilizing TE's who have long careers in the NFL. Dante Rosario is the first to come to mind, but Mundt is another. Rosario could do so many things, but did them so little.

I think Ferguson is pretty talented, but we will see how his career plays out. Just one guys opinion.

It all depends on who drafts him.

He has physical abilities and soft hands, he will have a career in nfl.

Maybe/probably not super stardom,  but successful nonetheless.

T Ferg could definitely be a solid NFL guy.

He can block, and catch a lot of the passes thrown his way. Getting drafted by a team with a good QB, and solid OL, would definitely jump start a potential career.
