We do NOT discuss the Oregon game here, as we will have a separate GameDay thread for our game, but all the others out there in CFB in this thread. (I will delete posts about the Oregon game, as we need to keep the discussions separate) 

 

Do provide score updates when you can, as well as your thoughts of what you saw.

 

 

Alabama takes an early 7-0 lead on SC, is there another one? Missouri 7-0 over UMASS. Wisconsin 7-0 over Rutgers, no score, UW-Iowa

UMASS is a basketball school, didn't even know they played football. Missouri 14 UMASS 0

I'll throw Kansas State in there. Alabama leads SC 14-9 at Halftime & Iowa 20 UW 10 at halftime. UW's FG went above the goal post, questionable whether it went through. It stands as good.

I'm starting to think we need a guide for what teams we should be weekend fans of.... Because those are good additions. 

 

I mean throw Stanford in there to beat Notre Dame but that's probably a long shot.

I root for all of the former PAC-12 schools (but I never mind if the Fuskies lose) and against all of the other teams around Oregon in the rankings to lose…

No question, I want them to lose every game. 

Nowday's 51 yard FG's are not all that unlikely in college football, SC should have done anything else. Still 20-19 Alabama.

Gag!!! 3rd & 10 Alabama, touchdown pass to wide open receiver. 27-19. But now Iowa leads Washington 37-10.

Maybe not, SC has a TD. Review reverses on field call, but misses 2 point conversion. Now it's over. 27-25

If this keeps up, Kalen DeBoer is going to be looking for another job soon.

It's not over! SC recovers onside kick. 

Well, a very badly thrown pass is intercepted by Alabama. This one finally is over. 

SC blew a tremendous opportunity. Nyck Harbor, former Oregon recruit, made a great TD catch to give SC an opportunity to tie the game. Man is he tall.  

All defense, not much offense, Iowa 40 Washington 7.

Don't worry folks... When Oregon wins a close one we go down the rankings. 

 

When Bama wins a close one they'll probably go up!

Just thinking the same thing. Michigan's best W is over the Trojans, just got beat by UW, who is now being routed by Iowa.

The Trojenz run game is really clicking with a lot of misdirection and pretty decent O-line play. In spite of my general distaste of all things U$C and Lincoln Riley, beating Penn St on the road would knock them down a notch, out of the top 5 and keep Oregon in the top of the B1G regardless of the outcome of today's game.

UDub wins time of possession and total yds, but loses the scoreboard...significantly.

 

In all 3 games away from Husky Stadium, the Huskies have outgained their opponents, but scored no more than 19 pts, and lost all 3.  (19-24, 18-21, 16-40)

Which is the Real team in this game, U$C or PSU?

USC taking it to Penn State early. The top B1G programs are not having much success on the road against the “soft” west coast programs.

 

Hopefully this holds in our game tonight.

The PSU offense may be iffy today but it also looks like U$C was rummaging around under the seat cushions and managed to find a defense

A couple of inept plays by PSU, when they really needed a TD, now it's 17-6, Is this another 5-0 PSU swoon starting?

PSU does look exhausted. If this is time zone related theeOhio State could at least be sleepy.

PSU is awake and punishing U$C in the air. Runs it in from the 1. 20-20. 

It is better for OBD if Penn State loses. But it's very hard to want U$C to win.

U$C's FG gives them a 23-20 lead and are the first points PSU has given up in the 3rd quarter this season. 

Only 4 hours until the Oregon State @ Nevada game.
