I've thought this every single Duck game I've watched:

Just wanted to give a shoutout to him. His athleticism reminds me of Colt Lyerla from back in the day.

 

Hope he continues to blossom.

Sadiq is so fun to watch. Reminds me of the Georgia's TE that destroyed us in Dan Lanning's first game as HC.

You know you're in trouble when you have to spend valuable practice time on defending sweeps to the tight end. And defending against sixteen yard screen passes to the tight end? Ya, that's a thing now.

And that's saying something since that TE, Brock Bowers was considered to be the best collegiate TE yet. Can't say that Sadiq is there yet. but give him time.

He passes the eye test for sure. Give him another year.

And his blocking is very good.

He's definitely got a great future.

Colt without the heroin addiction. Colt was an athletic marvel that had demons that he could not overcome. He ended up in being sentenced to jail, escaped out of a window, and somehow found heroin, then overdosed. He did survive. 
 

He was definitely an NFL caliber athlete
 

Sadiq is still growing into the role of a TE. He creates mismatches for a defense. He has the speed of many college level DBs, and a clear size advantage. 
 

Fun to watch. 

It is only a matter of time, (or rolling out the playbook later in the Playoffs) that we will see him go long, and out-jump the safety or linebacker covering him.

Thank goodness he survived that "hip-drop" tackle (now banned in the NFL) in the photo you posted.
